Fresh from his exciting adventure in Los Angeles last week (you know, the one where he got to hunt a real live demon), Wesley spent his library shift looking through books on ethros demons and how difficult they were to track, let alone exorcise. Shut up, he was proud of himself. Even if the actual frightening part had been the part with the boy, his work with the demon had been just as rewarding. [[open and OCD-free]]

When everyone arrived today, they'd find the computers turned off, and a television at the front of the room, along with bowls of popcorn and more hot chocolate. Sam really didn't like being cold, in case that wasn't obvious.

"We've seen computers do some neat things in here," he said, "but sometimes, people seriously overestimate the kinds of things computers are capable of doing. Usually, it's Hollywood that takes things too far, and today, we're going to watch a really good example of that."

It was possible that Sam's definition of "really good" didn't match up with reality.

"I hope it should go without saying that you shouldn't try any of this stuff, since it probably won't work but, seriously, don't try this stuff without a really amazing reason, okay?" Not that he was worried about anyone in here doing bad things, but there was no telling what people could secretly be capable of.

Once the class had gathered (inside the Danger Shop again, blasted cold), Hercules switched on the simulation. The class found itself in a dank, dripping dungeon, lit only by torchlight. He wore his usual heroic outfit again, since they were in the comfort of the indoors.

"Today's class is simple. You are to explore the dungeon, and fight the dragon at the end for its treasure!" Hercule laughed. "You will find swords and armor in this room, if you do not have any yourselves. Teamwork shall be key, and be wary of traps and goblins. I'm told this is all very traditional, according to the documentaries on SyFy." He gestured to the ominous double wooden doors ahead. "This is a trial of courage and mettle. Both of which heroes and heroines need. Don't worry, you cannot be maimed by the computer. But if you'd suffer wounds too great, you will be sent back to the beginning."

He clapped his hands together. "Go forth and delve into the dungeon!"

[Posting for [livejournal.com profile] olympian_herc, let's see if I have any better luck getting OCD and such up than him! And the OCD is posted!]
