Break week or not, Gabrielle was in Fandom and not at home, which meant she wasn't going to pass up a chance to be among the books if she could possibly help it. She really should go home; it had been a while, and she missed Xena, but she didn't want to miss a chance to see off anyone else who might be leaving in the next few days, either. Because apparently her player was that kind of "let's see how often I can make myself cry" masochistic.

Who knew? This next trip home could turn out to be completely uneventful for once.

Today, it looked like she was going to be pretty busy reshelving all the books about siege warfare, since they kept rearranging themselves into a miniature fort. It would have been cute, except that every time she'd been involved in a siege it hadn't been fun. The books didn't seem swayed by her attempts to point this out to them.
