Break week or not, Gabrielle was in Fandom and not at home, which meant she wasn't going to pass up a chance to be among the books if she could possibly help it. She really should go home; it had been a while, and she missed Xena, but she didn't want to miss a chance to see off anyone else who might be leaving in the next few days, either. Because apparently her player was that kind of "let's see how often I can make myself cry" masochistic.

Who knew? This next trip home could turn out to be completely uneventful for once.

. . . Gabrielle was still ridiculously optimistic. Hush.

Today, it looked like she was going to be pretty busy reshelving all the books about siege warfare, since they kept rearranging themselves into a miniature fort. It would have been cute, except that every time she'd been involved in a siege it hadn't been fun. The books didn't seem swayed by her attempts to point this out to them.

I'm totally sitting here listening to a compilation of all the GLaDOS quotes from Portal 2 (shut up, I'm obsessed with this game), and it's creeping my coworkers out. It's the best thing ever.
