Ziva had gotten her Danger Shop instructions back, which meant that when the students arrived, they were back at the racetrack - the very wet and rainy racetrack.

"Come here and stand under the tent, unless you enjoy standing in the rain," she said with a smirk. "As much as we all might hope to be able to drive only in good weather, sometimes, one must drive in less pleasant conditions. There is much advice that can be given about how to not slip on a wet road," which she showed them by passing out a handout, "but this is where I find that simply lecturing and giving notes are not adequate. I could stand here and tell you all how to drive in weather like this, but it will be far more useful for you to experience the conditions for yourselves. Take the cars out and try to get around the track without slipping, sliding, or crashing. It might not be as simple as you think."

"I hope you're all done being traumatized from yesterday, because today we get to play with big phallic symbols."

Deadpool was so caring about his students.

"So, today we'll be looking into why we practice. Practice makes perfect. Hang in there, kitty. Soar. All those shitty motivational posters you see in the guidance counselor's office and mock on the inside while you smile and nod along with the idea that, yeah. It's totally a great plan to go in for an Sociology or Philosophy major without any plans to go onto grad school. There are dozens of jobs out there for someone like you! McDonalds is hiiiiring!"

Again, you can feel the love. Feel the love. Can ya feel it yet?

Deadpool cleared his throat, pacing to the middle of the room. Because this was important. Really now. "I want you to break off into teams of two and come up with a list of reasons why you all need to actually work on this shizzy. You know, the usual stuff. But I want something fun on it. Like 'Practice is important because then we won't get our hands cut off like a punk while we attempt to juggle swords even though the television warned us to leave this to professionals, but did we listen? Noooooo.' You know. Stuff like that."

A beat.

"And yes, next week you get to hit each other. Get your asses working on this."

It would appear that it was up to Cal to actually have to do something as TA for a class this week. He flirted, briefly, with the idea of using this power to expunge the benefits of the great sea cow, the manatee, to the class and why it was important to save them, but with great power came great responsibility, or something like that, so he'd stick with the original lesson plan of a movie for today.

"Hey, guys," he said, "Ms. Pitt couldn't make it in today, but it's a movie day, so I guess take some notes or something. Or don't. It's no skin off my nose."

Such a good little TA. And at least he knew how to work the DVD player.

Instead of his usual trip through the shelves to find something to read all day, Sam settled in at the desk with his script for the play. He was going to have to memorize his lines quickly if he wanted to be able to do things like learn how not to trip over his own feet on stage.

Miss Bennet seemed a touch subdued, at the start of class. She had been male yesterday. It had been terribly jarring, especially when she realized she would not be able to pass the entire day without using the facilities. Students were advised not to inquire as to that particular matter.

Logical Fallacies, Part Two )

Miss Bennet leaned back against her desk with a smile. "We have handouts, as we did last week, and I will assume that you can infer from there what we shall be doing, for our class discussion."
