When the students entered the classroom, they'd see a long table in the front of the room with different types of coral on it. Some looked healthy and others, not so much.

"I hope everyone's having a good week," Summer said, once the students settled down. "Today, we'll be focusing on coral reefs." She pointed to the different types in the front of the room and explained how they were made and where they could be found.

The pieces of coral up front had been dried and cleaned, so they presented no danger to the students. "You guys can take your time inspecting the coral and if you want, you can take a piece back with you." Summer had a couple in her office, courtesy of her brother.

"Next week, if the weather holds, we'll be headed to the beach," Summer explained. "If the weather doesn't hold, we'll meet here and post pone the trip for another day."

"Good morning," Ziva said once everyone had taken their seats, "and welcome back. I am very happy to see all of you again." It was reassuring to know that she hadn't frightened anyone away somehow. "Last week, many of you indicated that you are unfamiliar with driving motor vehicles. Therefore, before we proceed any further, I believe it would be best to discuss the basics of how vehicles work here." Whether "here" meant the Danger Shop or Planet Earth was anyone's guess. She was getting close to accepting her most special students, honestly.

Ziva brought up a basic car diagram, and went through all the parts at a steady pace, just slow enough that note taking might not be a problem. Once that was done, she grabbed the controls for the Danger Shop, and the room changed from a classroom to an outdoor setting, putting everyone in a field by an oval racetrack and a handful of very plain-looking cars.

"Now, I could spend all day telling you the intricate details of how a car works, but nothing will teach you better than actually driving. I would like you all to break into pairs and take some turns around the track. If you are inexperienced, try to pair up with someone who has driven before, but do not worry about that too much. Because we are in here, you will not get hurt if you do not do well. Is that clear?" It might have been, amazingly enough for her. "Then get to it."

Sam's morning ritual had somehow managed to take less time today than usual, so he got to the library earlier than usual as well. Deciding to put the time to good use, Sam checked for dust and messes in all the places that he had to stretch to reach, figuring that none of the other aides could get to those spots at all. He wasn't sure where the flowers in the library kept coming from, but he took the time to water those too before unlocking the doors and opening the place up.

When the students filed into class today, they might notice that each desk had a sheet of paper, face down.

Dinah was currently surfing the web while waiting for Jak, who she'd left a message for on his answering machine about what time to meet. The scanner was warming up, and right now, she was typing up a few phrases.

Hi, my name is Jak, I have difficulty speaking.

Where is the Men's Room?

Did I just see that? Whoa.

Actually, most of that Jak seemed to get across just fine without words, but hey. You never knew.

Glinda was waiting at the front of the classroom, and seemed less cheery than usual. Although there were still snacks in the form of a cake and tea. "Today's lesson covers the fundamentals of handling people. They are as follows: First, don't criticize, condemn or complain. Second, give honest and sincere feedback. Third, motivate the other person to genuinely want to achieve what you are aiming for.

"Today's activity will revolve around that. I want you to pair up. You will take turns proposing the craziest idea you can think of, and the other will try to critique without coming across as namby-pamby or overtly harsh. Any questions? No? Then let's begin."

There was a slice of apple pie at each student's workstation today. "Good afternoon," Steve said. "Do not eat the pie. If you have already eaten your pie, it's not that big a deal. You'll just be drawing some crumbs on a plate. Today we'll be working on still lifes, which are works of inanimate objects that have been arranged out of their natural setting. A painting of a shell on the beach is not a still life, it is a landscape. A painting of a shell on a table, or a slice of pie on a plate in this case, is. The medium you'll be working in for these still lifes is pencil and paper. You can work in black and white or in color. You may be surprised by what colors you have to use to accurately depict your subject. Again, I'm not worried about skill level, just put in your best effort and have fun. Don't get frustrated." He paused. "When you finish your still life, or when the class period is over, whichever comes first, then you may eat the pie."
