There was no Edward today when the students arrived. There was, however, a rather embarrassed looking Joan standing awkwardly in front of the room.

Once everyone had arrived and taken their seats, she spoke. "Uh, okay, so Mr. Cullen couldn't be here today but he left some notes."

Her face bright red, she read from the information Edward had given her:

"Today we are discussing self-abuse. Pleasuring oneself may sound like a good way to avoid giving into temptation, but in fact, you are cheating both yourself and your future spouse. This desire, this passion within you is a gift for your future lover. Would you give someone you love a fresh bouquet of flowers? Or would you give them a wilted, bruised handful of old flowers?

Today we will discuss ways that you can entertain yourself and distract yourself from tempting thoughts. You may try a couple of my favorites. If these are not to your taste, join up with a friend and make a list of five chaste activities you would enjoy doing if you had a bit of spare time."

Not making eye contact with any of her classmates, Joan indicated a pile of scrapbooking supplies and several Scrabble boxes. "This is what he sent along for us. So, uh... have fun."

Gavin was setting out a few boxes of cookies and some drinks while the other members of flight club arrived. He figured that, since he couldn't cook, he could give everyone a nice pre-holiday treat that he could do. So, cookies and soda. Couldn't go wrong.

Once everyone had arrived, he smiled and stuck his hands in his pockets.

"Welcome back," he greeted. "I'm guessing everyone's getting into the holiday spirit right about now so I thought we'd do something kind of silly and holiday like. We're still gonna get into the sim but, today, we're going to be skywriters. Since we can't fly floats, we can skywrite things in the sim. It's not perfect but I didn't want to load people up with new stuff before a long weekend. The skywriting's attached to a standard X-Wing so it shouldn't be a problem there."

He nodded to the sim. "Get in there, set what you want your skywriting to say and then follow the instructions to form the letters. Have fun. And have a good holiday tomorrow."

There were pilgrim hats for the class today. But, sadly, no horribly offensive Indian headdresses. But that might have mostly been because he couldn't find real ones on short notice.

"So, tomorrow is Thanksgiving and a day of great foodliness," Deadpool said, nodding seriously. "So today we'll be focusing on the history of the day and all the traditional food that was served then."

A beat.

"Okay, so not really. Because tomorrow is freaking Thanksgiving and why are we even here? Seriously? Shouldn't you all be doing exercises to get read to gorge yourselves? Get out! Shoo! Go have fun with your kooky holidays of deliciousness."

The classroom door opened up to a dusty plain abutted by a cliff. Shades of shifted strata rose up and up.

"In the billions of years that this planet has been spinning, more species have died and disappeared than still remain," Mohinder started. "The fossil record is our main source of knowledge about them, as well as being somewhat to blame for Triassic Gardens and its unfortunate sequels. Organic matter becomes fossilised under layers of sedimentary rock, compressed until mineralisation occurs."

He continued to describe the fossilisation process, before switching to, "Perhaps the most famous branch of paeleontology is that of dinosaurs, dominant on this planet until a mass extinction event some 65 million years. Traces are so few that some rarer species have been theorised from a handful of remains."

"In fact," he said, handing out brushes and chisels. "It's as much a matter of a steady hand and good eye to assemble a complete individual. Group up to collect and put together your bones."

Anyone who arrived in the cafeteria for Thanksgiving dinner would find the tables arranged in the best way possible to allow as many people to speak to each other as possible, and also covered in rust-colored tablecloths. And turkey confetti. In fact, the whole place was decked out in autumny orange and gold and reddish brown hues, including the centerpieces. Very warm and inviting and pretty, and thanks to the kitchen, it smelled great. All in all, the place looked very nice, and the food would actually be edible when it was time to eat.

And the Fandom High cheerleaders wanted everyone to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. *mods, mwahaha*

It was odd to be walking about on two legs again, and it was a lot colder than it had been when he'd had a thick and fluffy coat and far too much energy. Ah well. He'd bundled up in his warmest cloak, and he was sure the oddness would soon pass.

Altra sniffed, part amusement, part disdain. :You were a puppy. I'm not sure I can ever forget that. The Firecat sauntered into the library, Karal following, where he opened up the library for the day, trying hard to remember that he was tall again, even if the floor still seemed as if it were just below his nose.

Bond looked exceptionally pleased with himself as his class filed into the simulated office lobby the Danger Shop had set up. Leaning against the empty secretary's station situated next to an impressive looking door, he waited for any straggler to wander in before beginning.

"Flirtation and seduction," he said, idly poking at the stationery on the desk. "You can never really underestimate the value of being able to charm your way out of, or into, a given situation. However, you it's not really a skill you can teach. Sure there's books on body language, and websites full of pick-up lines, but true skill, true charm only comes after years of practice."

He gestured at the door. "Today's assignment lies on the other side of that door," he said. "Your job is go in, and then get out again, preferably intact. The only tools at your disposal are your wit and charm."

Bond vaulted over the desk and settled himself in the chair. "So, who wants to go first?"
