It was the weekend before a holiday and Lee was actually reading up on those traditions. Sure, he'd been here for awhile, had experienced these before but he'd never really had a reason to know what to do and when to do it. He figured he could at least know why this holiday was celebrated before going to celebrate it.

He was really only concerned about the food. He wasn't planning on cooking anything but he could bring something, at least. And he didn't want to bring the wrong thing.

Rice krispie treats were, unfortunately, out.

The Art of War, Week #12 [Period 3, Monday]

"Are you all here?" Ghanima asked abruptly as the bell rang. "Anyone dead? Anyone kill anyone else?"

Without waiting for any sort of answer, she smiled impishly. "Good enough," she announced, hopping off her desk. "Today, we have two parts to our class. The eleventh chapter of Tzu's book speaks of both the varieties of ground found within terrain, and of leadership styles."

"I do not feel like going over territory disputes, I've done that enough this past week dealing with treaties from home that my brother has been kind enough to ask me to handle. Instead, we will look at the leadership aspects of the chapter. There are as many different styles of directing people as there are people in the universe. While Tzu has some very good, and very bad, ideas, I'm curious to see what qualities you look for in a leader."

"First, however, I want to hear your reports on your assignment."

Care for Magical Creatures; Period One. [ 11/24 ]

"Good morning, younglings!" Minsc greeted the class in his usual manner, and they would find the danger shop set up to be very droll and boring and classroom like. "I have given it some careful thought and I was thinking that next week, we will indeed be working with dragons! But, first, I need you to hand in your reports I asked for last week and, this week, I'd like you to pick out a partner! Talk with this partner about what you learned and, next week, you will work with this person with your dragons so choose wisely!"

"If anyone has any concerns or allergies regarding dragons, please let me know before next week!"

The Library; Monday. [ 11/24 ]

Cal came into the library with a big sigh and a big cup of coffee; he felt like he would much rather be somewhere else today, but, really, if he took a moment or two to think about it, he didn't have anything better to do and should just enjoy the fact that no one was going to bother much with the library on the week before Thanksgiving.

Right?
