Murdock was at the front of a classroom, his first actual classroom and therefore he was a bit giddy about it the whole prospect, scrawling something on the blackboard.

Grinning, he turned to his students.

"Hey! I think I already know half of ya, for the rest, I'm Murdock. You don't have to call me Mister or Professor, just Murdock is fine. I ain't much on formalities."

"So, I made this syllabus thingy," which he handed out, "and that's pretty much what we'll be covering. More or less. Sometimes less, sometimes more," he waved absently, "but you'll get the hang of it, I'm sure," he grinned.

"I'll have office hours on Wednesdays and you can probably catch me before and after class too. So let's start!"

Miss Elizabeth Bennet forced herself not to play idly with the chalk while she was waiting for her students to file into her classroom. (Her students. Her classroom. How very odd to think of them as such.)

"Good morning," she said finally, leaning back against her desk and regarding the room. "My name is Miss Elizabeth Bennet, and I am to be your Literature teacher this term."

She would politely omit the fact that she was very much surprised to be so.

Sam was glad to be back in the library, even if he was going to have to get used to being there on Thursdays. Wanting to make a good impression on the new librarian, he got to the library early to get everything set up long before he opened the doors to everyone else.

Buffy wasn't sure how, exactly, she'd ended up with a library aide position except for the fact that it kind of seemed fitting.

Ignore how she didn't know how exactly what people did in a library, really, besides look through books on how to vanquish demons and things. Look, Sunnydale High School didn't have the most typical library. She could count on one hand the number of times she'd seen someone actually check out a book. Oh, god, she hoped no one checked out any books.

She'd just be at the desk, looking busy.
