"Now the last couple of classes have been fun," he grinned. As usual, Murdock spoke while strolling around the Danger Shop, but today there was a slight limp present. "But we need to get down to some real business." He stopped and shot the class a look. "Some of the guys you might find yourself going up against are pros. Real pros. Not just slimeballs who think they can handle a gun and throw a fast right hook."

"So what we'll do today isn't so much with the running around and shooting, but the planning and stealth we'll need to ultimately take these guys out." He grinned impishly, "And then we can run around and shoot at 'em."

(ooc: short posty, all in OCD whoo! ooh the wait is on over! OCD up.)

"Good morning, class!" Charlotte greeted them all in her usual bright demeanor. "Before we get started, I would just like to sincerely apologize for having canceled last week." And there were extra cupcakes available to them to make up for it. "It was all really quite...um...unfortunate, but that's all over now, and now we're back, and we're going to talk about bartering!"

Here comes the blah blah blah )

"Of course, these are just the basics, and the more you barter the easier it becomes, especially if you find a good sort of rhythm or approach that works best for you. So, if there aren't any questions, what we're going to do today is we're each going to pick out some items out of this box here, and we're going to barter with each other over the item. If anyone's interested, I'd be willing to be a seller, too, but, as an art dealer professionally, I definitely know a thing or two about bartering a price! So go ahead, pick an item, and go barter!"

"Today's class," she started off as her students filed in, "is about the active dead. Those creatures which hold no life and do not conform to the usual laws of mortality but which nonetheless make their presence known."

She smiled at the assembled as Mike, curious as ever, padded out from behind her desk.

"Now, if you settle in, we can begin, hmm?"

"Counterfeiting is, fortunately, no longer likely to see the perpetrater burned alive or hung, drawn and quartered," Mohinder told the class cheerfully. "Despite the sizable range of goods and money forged today - stamps, coins and banknotes, artwork, music, as well as drugs both medical and illegal."

"It's a lucrative market and there are as many attempts to forestall copies - digital coding in music, holograms and strips in banknotes," said Mohinder, holding up a note in one hand, "As there methods for detecting fakes. Of course," he shrugged, flicking open a lighter with the other, "knowing the fake burns with a different flame," and lit the banknote, "can be less than helpful."

Dropping the note in a glass of water, Mohinder stood up and began passing out documents and parcels, summarising the details of document testing. "You'll want to take note of the details - handwriting or printing traits, stamps, postmarks, inks that don't match the rest of the document, details that are ahistorical - words that weren't yet coined, sketches of objects that didn't yet exist." He settled back at his desk, smiling, "After all, you wouldn't want to make the same mistakes."

Since it was cabin time, Lily handwavily notified her class to meet in the park, near the playground. And today, she was carrying a pineapple.

"Hi, guys. It's been a weird weekend, with the whole being tiny thing, and the fact that my husband is now a pineapple- say hi to Mr. Eriksen, boys and girls," she said, and almost seemed to be covering his, uh, ears. "So we're going to start off easy by giving him a little surprise. You see those tables I set up right there? On them is a bunch of art supplies. You can all draw him a picture so he hopefully doesn't feel as weird when he's not a food again."

When they'd finished with that, Lily said, "Today we're playing a game called Ghost in the Graveyard. How it works is, this tree right here is base. Whoever's it stands with their hand or foot on it, counts up, like 'One o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock,' all the way up till midnight, while everyone else hides. When they yell 'midnight!' you all have to leave your hiding place and try to get to the base without being tagged. The person who's it has to leave the base at midnight. First one to get tagged is it, and we start over.

"The rules are, no tagbacks, and if you're not touching the base, any tags count. Any questions? Okay, go play!"
