"God willing," Jean-Paul said once all of his students were present Monday morning, "and if your other teachers have done their jobs, you will live through your teen years and live to be old. At which time you will need money, and be unable to work. Do not panic." Jean-Paul went on to discuss various long-term savings plans, such as money in a sack under the mattress, Social Security, and Roth IRAs. Professor Beaubier was nothing if not comprehensive.

"Now, let us discuss which of these methods you think would be the best form of long-term savings for you. Starting with you," Jean-Paul said, picking a student at random.

Glitch looked at the syllabus, then out at the class, and then back and forth again a few more times as synapses tried to rearrange it a little.

He wasn't even remotely near prepared to give that kind of lecture after last weekend.

"Well," he started, "I think all of you already know why you shouldn't be inventing weapons." It was possible, given one particular design he's seen, that he's overestimating at least one student in the classroom.

"So, instead of telling you all that, you can use the class time to work on your projects. I'll be going around and checking on you in case you need any help."

Deadpool was most certainly in class today.

He was also clinging to his desk. And chair. And chalkboard. And the handouts.

"Nothing here is French! I'm just so happy, I could cry!" A beat. "Not that I do cry or anything, but I could!"

Really. He could.

"The narrative even backs me up on this," He told the class, most likely confusing the hell outta them.

Shaking his head to get back to the task at hand, Deadpool waved at all the kids. "So! I didn't really have time for planning of a big damn activity for ya'll, so you'll have to live with a boring class and some handouts today and I'll promise to make it up to you all next week. Think of today as a break after all the wacky of last week, mmmkay?"

After everything that happened last week, Sam wanted nothing more than for things to go back to being normal and quiet. He still felt a little tired, but that didn't stop him from heading to the library for his shift. If it weren't for the fact that Dean insisted on coming with him, this could have looked like any other Monday.

Today the Danger Shop was configured to look like a shore.

And on that shore, there was an elephant.

And next to that elephant was a teacher holding a series of handouts.

"Today, we're teaching yoga to an elephant," he said, pointing at the elephant. "Well, you are. I've already done that."

No he hadn't.

"Read the handouts, practice a few of the movements--if you manage to squeeze yourself into a wine jug, make sure to oil yourself up well because I'm not breaking you back out--and then take turns trying to teach Vana here some yoga."

The elephant looked in no way interested in being taught.
