Aly made her way into the Study Hall classroom with a large cup of coffee and a stack of notes from her first class to organise and clarify.

After making sure the classroom was set up, she sat down and proceeded to ignore the notes in favour of making corrections to a small book of codes she'd brought with her.

[OOC:  And I'm afk for most of the day due to work so Aly pings will be delayed until evening.]

Laid out on the desk was a sign in sheet and a platter of various modable goodies picked up that morning from JGOB. There was hot apple cider, tea and coffee as well. Once everyone was in and settled in their seats, Wilson straightened from where he was leaning on his desk, sipping his coffee and smiled to his new class.

“Good morning.” Wilson smiled. “Welcome to Conflict Management and Resolution. I am your professor for this class, Dr. James Wilson M.D. As a few familiar faces can tell you, I taught at the school last semester and have worked on Fandom at the clinic both in years prior and currently. I will be holding office hours on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am until noon but I can also be reached for a specific appointment and you are welcome to stop by the clinic when I am on shift."

Turning to pick up a pile of papers, Wilson nodded to Chris.

“For those of you who haven’t met him yet, I’d like to introduce you to the TA for this course, Chris Halliwell. He will be helping me with some of the more interactive classes and if I am out for any reason will lead the class."

Moving through the desks, Wilson began to hand out a packet of paper.

“Now, here is the syllabus for this class. On it you will find a breakdown of what we will be studying this semester, my expectations for you and my voicemail as well. Every week there will be a sign in sheet, probably right up here near the food. I ask that you remember to sign yourself in as I’ll keep attendance off this sheet. If for some reason you know you have to miss a class or you’ve missed a class, please get in touch with me ASAP so I can help you catch up with the work you missed. Does anyone have any questions?”

Giving the class a moment to ask questions, Wilson smiled and then walked to the overhead projector he usually lectured from.

The Danger Shop was neutral, for the moment. Just an empty expanse of nothingness that seemed to go on forever in all directions. In the center stood Sarah Kerrigan, decked out in her Ghost suit and armed with a simulated canister rifle. "Hey, kids. Welcome to Tactics 201, you probably know the drill by now. I'm Lieutenant Kerrigan; you can address me as Lieutenant or sir, depending on which works for you. Some of you'll have been in my previous class, in which case-- welcome back, I hope you had a good break and, yes, Booth if he's there, didn't get killed."

She rolled her eyes.

"This term, we'll be dealing in bigger terms. Where I come from, war's divvied up in macro and micro-- micro being what we covered last term, the art of maneuvering up close. Macro's the name of the game this term: managing your troops on a bigger scale. We'll be dealing with a bunch of modules, which might be familiar to some of you..."

She trailed off for a moment, staring out into the class, looking a little lost. "...but we'll cover that next week when I finish your syllabus."

Another hesistant pause, and then she slammed a button, warping the surroundings to give way to cliffs, dried-out ground and the shapes of large metal buildings all around, some blue emeralds shimmering on the ground up ahead. "I'll," she paused again, "I'll be dealing with a couple other universes during this term if it's requested or I find it potentially interesting, but the baseline is still what I'm used to. Most of our lessons are going to be stuff that branches out everywhere."

She stepped towards the class. "Before you guys get to take a look around, I'll do the usual and get name, experience and your favored shade of armor. I'll even let you guys tape on stickers this time if you want." It was a tried and trusted motivational tool. Really.

When the students came into the class room, it was quite a colorful display. There were flags hanging all over the walls, including the flag from the Fire country hanging behind Yondaime’s desk where he sat and waited for everyone to arrive.

"Good Morning!" He grinned and passed out copies of the syllabus. "And welcome! This is the class where you get to make and run your own countries, including deciding your government, culture, and everything inbetween. Since this is the first day of class and I’m sure at least some of you are still reeling and getting used to how things are here at Fandom, we’re going to take it easy and go through some introductions, then for future classes I’d like to get some ideas for things you all would like to have as exports and imports for your countries."

[Plz wait for OCDness! Go for it!]

Having received a handwavey message from Bridge, Karal had come in to open up the library today.

Altra leapt up on the counter and promptly started to snooze while Karal looked over the books that needed to be shelved.
