It was chilly outside.

To a girl who was raised in a lab and has never been outside for more than twenty minuets before coming to Fandom?  It is downright freezing.

Therefore, it was a bundled-up and miserable-looking Anemone that opened the library right on time, thermos of hot coco held tightly to ward off the evils of the weather.

Tuesday, November 6, Second Period

The classroom today was decorated with posters and charts referring back to all of the hands-on prophecy activities the class had undertaken so far. Once every was settled in, Aziraphale stood to address the class.

"Today, rather than a written quiz, you're going to have a practical exam. There will be two parts: a reading for yourself, and a reading for one other classmate. A person can receive more than one reading if necessary. The only stipulation is that you choose one of the assigned methods for each reading."

Part One: Do a reading for yourself, using cartomancy, tea reading, or I Ching.

Part Two: Do a reading for a classmate, using chieromancy, chrystallomancy, or cartomancy.

"When you are finished, you may use the rest of the class time to read or talk quietly.

Announcement of Special Project: During our class time on November 20, we will be meeting at the Perk for an extra credit project. Throughout second period, you will be giving free fortune readings to anyone who comes by and asks for one. This is not a required activity. Extra credit will be applied to participants, but the attendance requirement will be waved for that day. Please catch me after class if you have questions."

"Morning, all," Aly said with a grin once everyone was in the classroom.  "After last class, you all deserve a bit of a break, so today we're going to watch an episode of Lightning Bug.  And then I'd like people to pair up and discuss the relationships of the crew and how - in their own way - each of them tries to protect their shipmates.  Again, we're looking for both straight up bodily protection with weapons if necessary and more discreet attempts - when the young engineer's emotions are considered or someone makes food for the entire crew to keep them going."

"Once you've discussed it, you're free to go because next week's class is going to be a doozy."

Library; Wednesday [ 11/07 ]

Adah came in a bit early so that she had plenty of time to limp around the library to choose her choice reading materials for the day. By the time things were set for the day, she had set aside an eclectic pile of medical journals and comic books, as well as a carefully balanced tower waiting to be sorted, although perhaps she'd leave that. She felt that the way some of the books jutted out and it curved and threatened to wobble over like trees too tall in the wind, creaking, moaning, dizzying to look up at.
