screwyoumarvel: (Steve what was that)

Steve was, occasionally, a flake, which was why he hadn't realized until Monday morning he hadn't lined up a model for this week. Luckily, he'd had a last-minute burst of inspiration, and had placed a call to the math teacher. After a lot of begging, pleading, and promising to provide beer for all televised Montreal Canadiens games this month (there went his paycheck), Steve had his model )

After a very well, odd, weekend, Fraser's very grateful to be in the relatively safe confines of the school. He might be slanting his eyes towards the door just in case, almost as if he's expecting that tranquility to be interrupted.

Study hall is open.

Sure, today was a holiday in some strange, normal places. But this was Fandom, and that meant Sam was doing his usual Monday duty of getting the library open.

Odds are, he would have done it even if it was a holiday. Geek.

Sometime over the hectic weekend the students had been handwavey instructed to come to the Danger Room on Monday. Set up in a sort of 'waiting room' there was a spread of classic English tea sandwiches laid out today along with the usual coffee, tea and water.

Wilson was looking a bit amused as he sat in an overstuffed chair and sipped on his coffee.

As soon as everyone had gathered into the Danger Room, Wilson stood up and walked towards an unassuming little door.

"Good morning."

Class Time! )

When the sex ed class arrived in the classroom today, they would find that, on each desk, there was a pencil and a sheet of paper. Lulu was in her accustomed pose, leaning against the front of her desk.

"Good morning, class," she began. "As I said last week, today we are having our first test. It's really quite simple; you are to list one thing you have learned in this class, followed by a brief description of it, and two ways in which you can apply this to your own life.

"You have one hour; you may leave if you finish early. You may begin."

[OOC: Plz to be waiting for OCD is up! Responses may be NWS, given the class and topics, so read with caution if necessary.]

The classroom looked...well, like a classroom, today. Complete with a projector and pull-down screen.

Teaching wasn't something that came naturally to Kabuto, but he'd been handwavily asked to do teach class while Professor Tomoe was away. The syllabus said "Atomic Monsters from the Briny Deep", but Kabuto really, honestly, had no idea how to cover that. Instead, he went with something similar.

Luckily, he'd remembered to prepare before class. He had a DVD of an old monster movie he'd seen on television, and he also had a little of experience with Giant Evil Monsters.

Well, evil was always in the eye of the beholder though all D&D players know Beholders are pretty evil.

"So, Professor Tomoe isn't here today," Kabuto began once the class had assembled. "We’re supposed to talk about sea monsters today, but since I know nothing about sea monsters, we're going to have to make due with land monsters."

He turned on the projector and loaded the DVD. "I'd talk to you about the monsters from my world, but I doubt any of you would be terribly interested. If you'd like to hear about it, you can always talk to me. But, for now...the classic black and white film 'Giant Lizard Run!'."
