"Hi, ladies," Logan greeted. "Today we're looking at an area of journalism that some of us might be overly familiar with." He gave Zero a look, smiling slightly in sympathy.

"There's a specific area of journalism that focuses on the personal lives of people, primarily celebrities, and usually those in the entertainment industry, like actors and musicians. Undoubtedly you're familiar with it on some level, how there are magazines and TV shows that exist to discuss and pick apart gossip about those in the limelight."

He gestured to the laptops open for them to use. "Your assignment for today? Find a piece of gossip-column 'news' and tell me what effect you think that has on the public - by which I mean, do you think people will think less of them? Better of them? What do you think about it personally?

"And keep in mind, your final projects are due next week."

Yomiko opened up the library as usual, carrying a box of pastries from Jeff, God of Biscuits' for the library aides or any news squirrels who might happen by.

"Hanging up garlands of garlic, tossing a pinch of salt over the shoulder, a brewery of egg shells. If we are lucky, food is something that's always around. When one finds oneself in unexpected peril there is often the need to improvise, tossing whatever is at hand at the assailant. It is in situations such as these that certain properties of certain foods were discovered."

Byron goes on to talk about the magical and protective properties of various foods such as salt, garlic, chicken soup, wine, apples, bread, and (of course) a review of chocolate.

Off to the side is a table well stocked with a variety of the foods mentioned, when he was done talking, Byron indicated it with a sweep of his hand.

"Feel free to partake of the various foods we've been discussing. If your own culture has a tradition of magically important consumables please do share your knowledge with the class."

As the students filed in they would find a nice spread of pastries along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and other yummies. Wilson was standing behind the desk with his cell phone in his ear discussion something that sounded medical in nature with whoever was on the other line.

A few minutes after everybody got settled, he closed the cell phone with a sigh, shook his head and turned around to face the class.

“Good morning. Today we’re going to focus on the final section of our course, which is Reconciliation. What comes after a violent conflict has been resolved and how to rebuild for a stronger future so that the conflict does not rise again.”

Sliding his phone onto his hip clip, Wilson picked up a cup of coffee and walked to the overhead.

“Let’s begin.”

Yondaime wasn't showing up. Kabuto waited for fifteen minutes before sighing, walking up to the front of the classroom, and shrugging.

"He's not coming," he said simply. "Keep doing what we were working on last week. Ask Pip if you have any questions. And by all means, go ahead and kill each other. I'd be more than willing to help out with that one."

((ooc: Yondaime-mun is having health issues and had doctor appointments, so I'm covering with permission.))

"Hello, class," Rose greeted them, "Marvelous time pranking people? Today we're going to discuss another important cultural aspect... in any century and culture actually. Any guesses?" She looked at them, she looked at Anders, "Mr. Anders if you say sports you are completely right."

"There's football, basketball, soccer and running." She pointed to them, "I want you lot to make a report on your favorite sport. Just a short thing why you appreciate it and why you think it has that cultural impact in our society today. For now, we will watch one of the best sports show in television. I'm not much of a fan except when it comes to the world cup but Dan and Casey always manage to make me like sports. So, without further ado: Sports Night."

But before Rose opened the telly she looked at them, more sternly than usual. "Those who have more than two absences please see me later. You know who you are. I think its time to discuss extra credit."
