As the students enter the classroom, they may notice first of all that there’s a spread of scones, muffins, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and other breakfast pastries. Accompanied, of course, by coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and cider. The second thing they may notice is that the room has been decorated with twinkling lights, sparkly paper snowflakes, and fresh evergreen garland.

Aziraphale is sitting in his chair, looking very pleased to be back.

To his credit, Sam was almost completely awake as he went to open the library, even without coffee. Not that he wasn't clinging to his coffee cup anyway, of course.

Elliot is perched on her desk as the students file in.

"Hey. This is your next to last week. Next week, your final is due. What I want you to do for that is to pair up and give a five-minute presentation on one of the topics we covered in class, your choice. The pairs are: Jamie and Setsuna, Buffy and Shawn, and JD and Summer. I'm just going to give a fast lecture to finish off our First Aid unit -- Shawn, this is deja vu for you again, sorry -- and then there's a quiz, then you can have the rest of class to find your partners and decide what you want to present and how. Points for creativity.

So, the lecture? Is about burns. The severity of a burn depends upon its size, depth and location. Burns are most severe when located on the face, neck, hands, feet and genitals, when they are spread over large parts of the body or when they are combined with other injuries. Burns can lead to pain, infection and shock. They are most serious when the victims are very young or very old.

More behind the cut. )

Cameron really wasn't sure how it had happened. He had shown up early for class and found Zuko marching up to him. The kid wasn't all that tall, but Cameron hadn't had much time to argue.

"You!" Zuko had called. "You're holding class today."

Before Cameron had even had time to ask why Zuko had stormed off, leaving Cameron to take over class for today. Not having had any sort of preparation, Cameron decided to stick to what he knew, which was why he was dribbling a basketball around the court as he waited for his classmates to show up.

Once everyone had gathered, he spoke up. "Okay, I thought we could play some basketball today. For anyone who didn't see our own team play this summer, the basics to the game are fairly easy to get a hand on," he said, launching into a short explanation of how the game was played."

"Alright. Don't forget to warm up and then grab a ball and practise a bit. When you're done, find a partner to play one-on-one with. Don't forget to have fun."
