Energy and Fitness, Friday, December 15, Period 1

Cameron really wasn't sure how it had happened. He had shown up early for class and found Zuko marching up to him. The kid wasn't all that tall, but Cameron hadn't had much time to argue.

"You!" Zuko had called. "You're holding class today."

Before Cameron had even had time to ask why Zuko had stormed off, leaving Cameron to take over class for today. Not having had any sort of preparation, Cameron decided to stick to what he knew, which was why he was dribbling a basketball around the court as he waited for his classmates to show up.

Once everyone had gathered, he spoke up. "Okay, I thought we could play some basketball today. For anyone who didn't see our own team play this summer, the basics to the game are fairly easy to get a hand on," he said, launching into a short explanation of how the game was played."

"Alright. Don't forget to warm up and then grab a ball and practise a bit. When you're done, find a partner to play one-on-one with. Don't forget to have fun."

Having been on said basketball team over the summer, Anders had a warmup routine for this. Because he would. So he was, indeed, warming up.

"So you just woke up and thought that shirt was a good idea to wear?" he asked.

Cameron didn't seem to be agreeing with the whole good idea part. "Why?"

He blinked again. "It couldn't have been a different whim? You know, like a less embarrassing one?"

"Hey, it doesn't say 'with each other'," Cally said. "You're totally in love with Veronica, and John is in love Aeryn. Not embarassing."

"Pouting doesn't work while you're wearing that," Cameron tried to be stubborn because it really wasn't fair.

Cameron tried not to grin at the peace offering as it might blow his chance of actually getting pudding. "Chocolate pudding?"

So basically Zuko can not think beyond the whole martial arts thing and I thought playing a game would be fun instead of beating each other up.
