No guest speakers today. Once the class was settled, Mary addressed them.

"As I mentioned last week, you will begin working on your final projects. You will all have one week to put together a presentation in the language or languages of your choosing from any that we've covered this term.

You may do this alone, or in groups. It does not need to be a large elaborate production, but you will be expected to present it before the rest of the class. You may break into groups now and take the period to begin working on your projects."

Mary takes note of any absences and will send them a packet with instructions after class.

Wilson was sitting in one of the arm chairs, flipping through a book as he waited for the students to come in and get settled. As it was Friday, there was a spread of homemade baked goods, left by the angel before he'd gone away and a selection of warm morning drinks full of caffiene and sugar.

When everone was settled, Wilson stood up and began to pace the room.

"Good morning. First off I wanted to congradulate you all on a brilliant pagent. Mr. Connor, excellent work I am sure that Aziraphale will be delighted when he sees the video I took."

Picking up one of the overhead films that Aziraphale had left, Wilson set it on the overhead projector and began the lecture.

Daniel was relaxing at the front of the classroom with his coffee.

"Okay, today we're just going to have a little fun -- and hopefully review some material in the progress. We're going to play historical 20 questions and hangman.

"Basically, you think of a person we've either studied, or was involved in any of the periods we studied, and the rest of the class will ask you questions and you have to answer them and we'll see if we can guess who you are. The catch is, for those of you who have never played before, is that the answers to the questions can only be "Yes" or "No"."

"Hangman will be done up on the board here and can be a person, a place or an event. I'll go first and then whoever wins, or wants to go next can do so.

Any questions?"

The students this day came in to find El had prepared food for them. Breakfast tacos to be precise. There was also a TV and DVD player set up.

"//Over the next couple of days we'll be watching a movie called 'El Cantante'. It is in Spanish, and I've arranged for the subtitles to be removed, so you're going to have to try and follow along on your own as best you can. At the end, sometime over the next week or so, I'll ask for a summary of the movie.//"

And with that, El hit "play" on the remote.

Logan was in a wheelchair today, but as he wheeled it around his desk to talk to the class he seemed not at all hampered by the alternative mode of mobility. "Good morning," he said. "Sorry about last week, but I imagine some of you had your own troll-related problems. I'm sure you all used the extra time to work on your final projects anyway, right?" He grinned.

"Those will be due next week though, so you've still got time. This week we'll be looking at stereotypes," he said, and handed a stack of handouts to a student to pass around. "Unsurprisingly, stereotypes are something used quite a bit in popular media, in advertising. You'll hear a lot of people say stereotypes are bad, but why is that? Is there any reason they might be useful?"

Logan spread his hands, looking at the class curiously. "I don't doubt a lot of you have been identified as being part of a stereotype at one point or another, whether true or not. So here's an exercise as well; name the stereotype you believe you are closest to - or one of them, if there's multiple - and identify at least one way each that someone might use the appearance of that stereotype in a good way and a bad way, either to assume something about you specifically or the group you belong to in general."

"Next week is our last class," Lorelai said after the class had gathered. "Rather than give you more information, I'm going to give you this period to ask any questions you might have about pop culture in general or about your final projects which are due next week."

Laura was dressed casually , a cup of coffee from The Perk in one hand as she stood at the front of the classroom. She smiled at her students as they entered and took their seats.

"Okay, the past couple of weeks, we've been exploring how various systems interact with faced with similar stimuli. I hope you've found it interesting, if not entertaining. Maybe next time, we'll toss a dictatorship into the mix and see what happens." A smirk twitched across her lips as she mentioned this because her mun knows exactly how unpredictible it is to have an Iranian cell in the National Security Decision Making Game.

"Today," she continued, "I'm going to take a page from Professor Harrington's book, and we're going to first answer any remaining questions you have, and then you're going to get out of here and consider it a 'reading day.' Now... who has questions?"

With any questions answered, the class was dismissed a bit early.
