Cross Species Communications - Monday

No guest speakers today. Once the class was settled, Mary addressed them.

"As I mentioned last week, you will begin working on your final projects. You will all have one week to put together a presentation in the language or languages of your choosing from any that we've covered this term.

You may do this alone, or in groups. It does not need to be a large elaborate production, but you will be expected to present it before the rest of the class. You may break into groups now and take the period to begin working on your projects."

Mary takes note of any absences and will send them a packet with instructions after class.

Walter had no intention of teaming with River, so he grabbed a seat on the other side of the room and started going through his notes.

Sporting a nifty new blue hat (http://www.kidknits.biz/i/corkscrewhat.jpg) (complete with bright yellow, green and red corkscrews!), Luna took her seat.

She wasn't really paying that much attention to was or wasn't partnered up. She had a brand new string! There were cat's cradles (http://www.nwt.literacy.ca/famlit/howtokit/culture/graphics/31.jpg) in deep need of being made. Clearly.
