The Science! lab, all day Saturday
Saturday, October 21st, 2006 11:30 amThe Science! lab was now dotted with displays of what the class had been up to for the last two months. The book on friction was there, open to the page about the World Without Friction. A model of photons being emitted from a lightbulb. Several of the balloon cars were sitting around, which also gave Ms Frizzle and Liz something to do between meeting parents and guardians. Her oversized model of the solar system was quietly revolving to itself on the ceiling. A chart of the water system stretched across half of one wall. And finally there was a fishtank with one large and well-fed albacore tuna.
The Friz herself was in a fairly neutral dress today - if by neutral one meant covered in pictures of everything science-related instead of specific topics of the day. Liz spent most of the day napping on a small lounge chair at the front of the room.
Time to take chances! Make mistakes! And get . . . acquainted!
[[No OCD - go to!]]
