Elliot practically skips into class wearing a full-skirted dress and a little cardigan. She's not exactly low-key most days, but today she seems especially perky, in a teacher sort of way.

"Hello, class! Isn't today a lovely day for Homecoming? I have a wee, eensy little quiz you're supposed to take, and then we have a filmstrip to watch about one of the most important issues facing all of you. It's called Are You Popular?. This film shows that popularity isn't about going out with a lot of people -- it takes several strategies to build the kind of reputation that will make boys and girls both want to be around you! After we've watched it, I would like for you each to share something with the class that you do to be popular."

"Oh, and we have a special treat for you in three weeks. Instead of class on the 27th, you'll be going on a special field trip with Ms. Frizzle on the 26th to learn about anatomy. We'll be meeting in front of the school before 7th period. Please let me know if you won't be able to make it!"

[OOC: If you can't watch the film, there's a synopsis and some reaction here.]

"Good morning, students," Zoe said, sounding quite a bit brighter than usual. "This is a reminder to the following students that they need to report for detention tomorrow with Aziraphale:

Belthazor
Schrodinger

"In addition, we have two lottery winners this week, William Kessler and Blair Sandburg. Sorry, boys. In other news, don't forget that this is Homecoming weekend! I hope to see all of you at the carnival, and the dance. And if there are any alumni out there listening, welcome back. That's all I have for this morning. Thank you."

Sam had coffee and lots of wholesome reading to do. In other words, he was more than ready to open the library.

A sign over the door read: “Please do not suit up today, we’re having lecture.” Yondaime sighed as he sat inside the class room; he really hated lectures, they weren’t fun not even for him but this was one of those necessary evils at least as far as he was concerned.

The sign up sheet was at the front of the class for people to sign in as they sat down and Yondaime waited patiently for everyone before starting. “Today’s class is going to be short and sweet and more of a cautionary explanation before we get into more serious levels of the class.” He took a deep breath as he stood up and crossed his arms moving as he talked.

“With the homework for last week I asked all over you to test yourself to what you thought the limits of your stamina were, I’m going to be looking at the results that you were supposed to take of those tests later, but here’s a big hint. If you did it correctly you should have felt nearly unable to move when you were done.” He smirked slightly wondering how many people really pushed themselves that far… not many probably but that was really all right. “I wanted you all to push yourselves as far as you could go so that you all will know when to stop. With the next level I’m going to be teaching you it is very important not to overestimate your abilities since it quite literally could kill you.” He explained his face going more serious than any of them had seen from the light hearted man.

His bright smile returned almost instantly as he leaned against the table. “So, this lesson is mainly just to go over how to really take care of yourself, which I particularly think is kind of a ‘duh’,” the blond chuckled. “And really only comes down to a few things, sleep regularly, eat well and exercise which from the looks of this class most of you probably do any way. But I do have to say that sleep is very important, it not only restores your body’s energy but your mind’s as well and that will really be important later in class.” He turned to the table and grabbed a stack of papers from there and began handing them out to the class, one in particular for Zuko that was written in as close to his own language as Yondaime could manage. “This is a hand out that I made [OOC: But it was EATEN so hand wavy it >.>] with information regarding how to stay fit and some worksheets, but that’s really it for this week.” He chuckled. “I hope it was mostly painless.”

[ooc: Wait for OCDOCD is up and sorry about the late start, computer needed new power cord.]
