Rory opened the library a few minutes early, sweeping in a bit rain-splattered and windblown, but actually smiling.

She settled herself behind the desk, and after straightening the sign displaying the new aides, set to work rereading her favorite passages from The Complete Dorothy Parker.

"I hope you all had a good weekend," El said as the students filed into the room. "And I suggest that, if you think it would help you personally, that you stretch out a bit. We don't want anyone straining a muscle or anything."

He looked around the class. "Today we'll be discussing the tango. Not the ballroom type, with specific steps, but the Argentinian variety, which is more free form and has, in my opinion, more spirit."

El then launched into a lecture on the Tango, complete with a demonstration with Nadia.

"Now, pair up as best you can and practice. I realize that this is, in some ways, impossible considering the number of boys we have. If you need, I am more than willing to dance with someone. Otherwise wait your turn or dance with another girl if such a thing doesn't bother you. Just remember to switch of leading. Nadia and I will be around if you have questions."

Wilson sat behind his desk, reading through his paperwork as the class filed in. As was the case last week, there is tea and coffee along with some pastries and it might even seem as if the professor himself was enjoying a cheese Danish. Once everyone was in their seats, he looked up from his work and smiled to the class.

“Good morning.”

Setting aside his work, he stood up and moved around to the front of the desk, as he tended to do when giving his lecture. Arms crossed over his chest, he looked out across the class and then smiled.

“Well, on the syllabus today we were going to go over the idea of Objective vs. Subjective. The black and the white vs. the grey. But upon listening to the radio the past couple of days I decided to shift the topic slightly and take on something a bit more…relevant to some of the issues flying around campus these days.”

Taking a breath, Wilson reached for his coffee and took a sip. )

Billy made sure there were enough copies of the syllabus on the desk, so that if students had lost their copy or simply not received one, they could pick one up on the way in.

"Hi, class," he said when the bell rang. "Today's our first real class. If you've seen the syllabus - which I hope you have - then you probably know that today we're going to be going over Newton's Laws of Motion. I'll try to keep it simple." Billy handed Conner three handouts to pass around to the class. They explained the First, Second, and Third Laws, complete with little diagrams and examples. Most of Billy's lecture contained the information written on the sheets so his mun doesn't have to type it all out again.

When lecture was over, Billy grinned. "And we're done with the really boring stuff, now. Set up in the back we have some experiments to play with, illustrating and clarifying what we've just talked about. Feel free to work alone or in groups until the end of the class period."

"Good afternoon, class!" Ms Frizzle trilled as she flounced into class, standing en pointe for a moment before clapping her hands together. Today's ensemble involved a lemon-yellow dress covered in lightbulbs and glowing filaments, with matching earrings and shoes. "I am so excited about all your wonderful ideas about the science fair that you came up with the last class! Today I thought we'd talk about all the different things you can do with science -"

Suddenly, all the lights went off in the classroom.

"Oh, shoot! Liz!" Ms Frizzle called. There was a scrabble of claws and the sound of drawers being opened and closed. "Now where's that flashlight . . ." Ms Frizzle muttered to herself. "A ha! Here it is!"

The flashlight flicked on - illuminating the gigantic gremlin silhouetted against one wall of the classroom!

The classroom lights come on to reveal Liz hanging precariously from the light switch and the gremlin disappeared. Miss Frizzle straightened, turning off the flashlight, and laughed at the small gremlin bouncing on its spring in the top drawer of her lab bench. "This gives me a wonderful idea!" she crowed as her earrings began to glow and she headed for the window, leaning out and giving a sharp whistle. "Everyone to the bus!"

[[Thank you, Walter and Pip, for that lovely little segue. Please wait for OCD. OCD away! Get messy, etc!

EDIT: *facepalm* Sorry, should have been more clear. You can say where you landed when you de-photon.]]

The Doctor waits until everyone has gathered in the classroom, then dims the lights. The layout is exactly the same as the previous week. He points to a small basket attached to the front of the desk, which has a small sign that reads 'Assignments Here' on it.

There is also a springloaded small gremlin thing -in- the basket, which had in no way jumped out at the Doctor while he prepared the classroom and caused him to point his sonic screwdriver in a frantic manner.

The Doctor then turns on the projecter, which produces three human-looking images, side by side in front of his desk.

A note was left on the door of the classroom instructing his class to meet him in the gym in ten minutes dressed for a work out.

Yondaime was there waiting for them this time instead of being late. 'Cept he seemed to be arguing with a small red frog... that was actually arguing back. They both looked up at once as the students started to appear and the frog disappeared in a small puff of smoke leaving the blond looking rather annoyed as he waited for everyone to arrive. He put on a smile though and waited for everyone to show up before he started speaking.

"I'm glad to see everyone here again and that I didn't scare you off last week." He chuckled slightly at himself; it was kind of sad, but he was trying to not be annoyed at his amphibian visitor. "Today we'll be running tests, not fun I know, but I'll need to know all of your skill levels before I break you up into teams." Yondaime explained and turned to his TAs motioning for them to join him. "You two will be tested last since I'll need your help administering them." He smiled and ruffled Skif's hair before turning to the rest of the class.

"After I lead you through warm-ups, we'll go through the tests and yes you will be graded on these." He waited for the impending moan of protest regarding that, but they wouldn't really he just wanted them to have the incentive to perform to their best abilities.
