The class was back in the Danger Shop one more time, which didn't look like much of anything at first.

"This is our last class," Jaina began. "I want to thank you for taking it, and hopefully you've learned something, or at least had fun with it. And since it's the last class, you're going to be choosing your own adventure. You'll all get to design your own starfighter and program it into the Danger Shop, at which point you'll get to fly around in it before we move on to the next person. Hopefully by now you also have some preferences to plug in there, or you know what you think is cool-looking. That works too."

Cryptozoology, Monday period 2

Jon eyed the chicken in the teacher's seat. Then he carefully leaned up against the desk and relaxed when it didn't attack. Look, whoever was in charge here, it clearly wasn't him.

"This is finals week," Jon announced to the class, "so for your final - I would like you to explain to the class what your favorite cryptid is and why. It can be one we've discussed in class, one we didn't get to, one from your world, or one you've entirely made up, so long as you're descriptive about it."

Look, at least he wasn't making you all write essays about them, which had been his first impulse. He had loosened up!
