Jaina was back this week, and looking a little too excited about today.

"In case you were not aware," Jag began, "we are the parents of twins, which at times has been... challenging going."

"The early days were hell," Jaina stated simply.

"I wouldn't go quite that far," he said.

"I would," Jaina said. "They cry and you have no idea why, at any time of day. Sometimes they cry just to cry. You're constantly trying to make sure they don't kill themselves by accident. You don't sleep a whole night through. People try to tell you what you're doing is wrong even though you know it's fine. And most of the time you're trying to do it all around the things you had to do before, like work and chores."

"Today you will be given droid babies," Jag told them. "You will be paired up, and it's your responsibility to work out co-parenting. The babies will cry, they will need to be fed, they will need to be entertained. They will continue crying until you solve the problem. You are not allowed to break them, use powers on them, or do anything along the lines of locking them in a closet. Next week you will report back on how things went and how you worked with your partner."

"Good luck and may the For e be with you," Jaina said, and that's how you knew you were in trouble.

Class today met down at the pond, as Ghanima felt like feeding the flamingos.

"Today, children, we discuss semantics," Ghanima said briskly from her seat on the grass.  "Although the words are used interchangeably in many cases, fate and destiny can be, and should be, distinguished."  She smiled slightly as Trebor dug his hands in the grass and giggled.  "Don't groan at me.  Semantics are your friends, I promise.  When you know a word, inside and out, it becomes more than a word.  It's a friend, a weapon, and a great source of fun at the expense of other people."

'Fate is not the ruler, but the servant of Providence.' -- Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton )

"So, let's chat.  Semantics and harbingers of fate.  I'm curious to hear what you think."

When the students came in, they were greeted by table and chair with a pizza box (sadly empty), and a strange object sitting on it.

"Good morning, everyone," Anakin said. "I am still not a cat!"

Congratulations, Anakin.

"There are also far fewer cats involved in this week's class," Ahsoka remarked, almost regretfully.

Anakin looked smug. "Yes, there are." Unless someone brought in a cat as a satisfying thing to touch.

Let's be real, there was a non-zero chance someone had. Speaking off, it was time to touch all the things that had been brought in.

"Homework first and then we will explain the pizza box," Anakin said. Well. Sort of explain it.

If you ever felt you knew less by the time these classes ended than when they started, it was possibly entirely by design.

Once all the things had been touched and judged. Ahsoka continued "Your task today is to order a pizza."

"Yes," Anakin said, eyes twinkling. "Using that phone, order an extra large vegetarian pizza with pepperoni and bacon, and without tomato and cheese. You may not use the following words: extra; large; vegetarian; pizza; pepperoni; bacon; tomato; or cheese."

"You will also receive a bonus point if you can get the person taking your call to say ''bubbles," Ahsoka added.

Jon nodded to his class. He...was not in a bad mood. Look, this class might be pointless, but at least it wasn't stressful.

"One of the best ways to waste time on the internet is to watch videos. They take longer than pictures, after all, and unlike music or podcasts, you can't really multitask while watching them." He frowned. "I assume. Normal humans can't really, anyway." He shook himself. He was not going to attempt multitasking right now.

Instead, he held up his phone. "You'll find some videos on Instagram and other social media, but there are two main sources for them: Youtube and TikTok. I tend to mostly use Youtube because the videos are longer and the search function isn't quite so egregiously horrible." Also because he was a Millennial and not Gen Z, but hush.

"Cat videos are wonderful, but don't tend to be very long, so if you're looking to really waste a lot of time, I encourage you to look up how-to videos, science demonstrations, house renovations, and that sort of thing. Oh, and if you want to waste a bit of time but not quite that much, this little gear here lets you switch them to double speed, so you can watch the same thing but faster."

He nodded. "Right, so - find something and share it, and let's all waste time."

Seriously - least. Stressful. Class. Ever.
