chef_chocobro: ((older) hand out thinking)

"As we find ourselves heading into warmer weather with the advent of the spring and summer seasons here," Ignis began his class that week, "I'd like to turn our attentions to the ubiquitous staple of outdoor cooking known as grill. On the one hand, as an outdoor device, one could argue that it hardly is part of a kitchen, but I like to think of it as more like taking the kitchen on the go, especially as most of my experience with grills were, indeed, portable ones for travel and camp. We will have a look at some of those, as well as a variety of other types, and, as you might expect, the pros and cons that come with each other.

"And thankfully," here he couldn't help a small smile, "we have the danger shop here to make sure we can not only have easy access to a variety of different kinds of grills, but also explore them to our heart's content without the risk of burning anything down."

Not that he would think any of you would, of course.

"So, let us get into it, and then we'll see if there are any questions before we start delving into a full grilling experience."

"We're not heading far today," Lana said. "We could probably even drive there, but the portal is easier and gives us more time. Two hours and sixteen minutes today." The portal came up and she led them through. "Welcome to the National Gallery of Art. They have over 150 thousand pieces of art from a wide variety of times and places. We should be just in time for you to catch a guided tour of the sculpture galleries or modern and contemporary art, if you're inclined to either of those, or you can explore for yourselves."

She smiled and gestured them at it. "I think I'll catch the modern art exhibition, if you need me."

"Delegation!" Had they talked about delegation before? Probably. Could they be bothered to actually check their notes? That would imply they'd taken some at any point. Aphra continued without a care in the world "It's super important because it enables you to get even more tasks done by having other people do them."

"Which means you have more time for more important things." Which in Isabela's case involved a lot of drinking and writing erotic fiction. So, the truly important things.

"So as a lesson in delegation..." Aphra paused and pointed at a random student. "You can lead the class for the rest of today."
