Prompto usually spent his Monday nights finishing up on his lesson plans for class the next morning and putting together his presentations, but last night was a little....erm. Well...difficult for focusing when Liz was right there, so a lot of his work did not even stand a chance.

Thankfully, there were, like, so many photography documentaries out there that he could just pull up and build a quick lesson about.

"Alright, guys!" he greeted. "We've got another film, but this one isn't focusing on a specific photographer, but instead,a few of them, who share the same....erm...interests."

It seemed better not to use the word 'passion' this week, you know?

"So let's have a look and let me know if anyone of them featured in the doc really catches your eyes, and maybe we can use it as a springboard for a deeper dive into their work later."

There. Simple and sweet and still educational, right? Right. Now it was just a matter of anyone being able to actually pay attention....

This was a week that made for very awkward co-teaching. Anakin and Ahsoka was leaning into that by being as far away from each other as possible.

"Sometimes it's better to experience friendship from a great distance," Anakin began.

"A very great distance, " Ahsoka agreed from the other side of the room. Had someone spent the last few days furiously meditating? Yes.

"I have family and friends spread across many galaxies," Anakin said.

And some of them even still talked to him! "Likewise, I have many friends spread across our home galaxy." Not that you'd know it from her general hermit tendencies.

"So today we are going to write letters to become pen pals with someone who lives far, far away."

"While being far away from each other."

"Very far," Anakin agreed.

"You can even do it as a private study." Ahsoka's tone indicated that choosing that option was a great idea.

"Right then," Ghanima said cheerfully, with all the brightness and perk of someone distinctly unaffected by the island's latest nonsense because she was absolutely cheating and altering her personal body chemistry to avoid it. "I decided that since some of you may have been distracted by, ah, romance, we'll be watching Wildcat in Snow. None of them are, technically, mad, unless you count the lust for power as a madness. Horribly clever, most of them, which is part of the problem."

"As you've learned, the lines of succession can cause problems," Ghanima continued. "Sometimes rulers behead potential rivals. Sometimes they lock them up. And sometimes, it is not always clear who is next in line."

"Henry the Second of England. Eleanor of Aquitaine. King Philip the Second of France. Three of the most powerful people in the world. Add in three would-be players, and a hapless pawn or two, and you've got a dynastic battle of the highest order."

"So get comfortable, enjoy the movie, and chat amongst yourselves. Is this madness? Or just good-old-fashioned family squabbling on a much larger scale? After all, it's not just the family silver at stake - it's two countries, and the entire balance of power in the 'civilized'--" and if you thought you heard air-quotes around that word, you were totally right. "--world."
