"We've just had two pretty combat-focused classes," Prompto said, getting class started with that eager grin of his yet again, "so this week? We're going to take it down a notch and focus a little more on the teamwork aspects. More specifically, today, we want to do some work with communication."

"Communication," Ignis continued, perhaps with that slight touch to tightness that came with a very personal awareness of the application of words to reality, "is key to success with a team, in all aspects of life, be it on the combat field, in a place of business, or even at home in your personal relationships. In a combat situation, effectively communicating with your teammates has, in many times, been crucial to our success in a battle. A quick rapport can maintain energy, impart important details that the others might not have noticed, or simply share strategies to give one an edge on the field."

"But communication," Gladio added, his deep rumble sounding particularly grim, "can also breakdown pretty easily, too. And sometimes communication can fall on the wrong ears or in the wrong hands, so you've got to be careful and aware, and it's those two concepts we'll be working on today, and then, next week, we'll combine communication and combat together. For now, though, we just want to explore some various aspects of it. Today, we're just going to focus on game to really show how communication can get lost in the jumble. Next week, we'll have some fun with codes, so if you want to get a head start on a code system, you know we'll be impressed, and then we'll bring communication into action. Pretty solid plan, right?

"And so," Ignis concluded smoothly, "in respect to the topic at hand and in hopes of demonstrating effective communication right off the bat, are there any questions before we begin?"

There was no water or oil dripping in the library today for which Belle was quite grateful.

There was a book on drinking games on the desk that appeared to be brand new. Belle had no idea why but she was pushing through it since it was available.

She was also keeping an eye on a gremlin who was apparently playing chess by itself.

"Today we're going to China," Lana announced as they met at Portalocity. "Specifically, Macau City. Macau is one of the most densely populated places on Earth, and is largely run on tourism and gambling." So, a much cleaner Nar Shaddaa. "Specifically, we're going to be visiting Macau Tower." She led them through and onto a street. It was currently night time.

"As you can see, they have shopping. There are also a number of restaurants, from a cafe waterside down here, to a revolving restaurant at the top of the structure. Feel free to have a relaxing time. Or," she added wryly, knowing her audience, "if you prefer, they offer a climb of the tower, a walk around the observation decks inside and out, and either a harnessed jump or the world's highest bungee jump down." She shook her head. "Since you weren't allowed last week, I thought I'd let you get it out of your system here." And you even got a t-shirt and certificate!

"I'll be in the restaurant if you need me."

Today, in class, there were penguins. Tiny, adorable penguins and one... not so tiny, but still adorable penguin waiting for everyone.

"Please don't ask how we got these here," Jane said, for sure making it even more suspect.

"Not for eating," Cara dutifully recited off her note. "For the record that was written in all capitals."

"...people eat them?" Oh, the horror on Jane's face.

"I mean, I don't think they'd have enough meat on them to be worth the effort," Cara tried, carefully not looking at the giant fluffball.

Said fluffball waddled along to lean against Cara's legs. Clearly think she was his mother.

"But penguins," Jane said, shaking that off and looking at the notes. "Are a flightless bird, native mostly to the southern hemisphere. A group of them on land is called a waddle. That's pretty adorable."

"Yes, adorable," Cara deadpanned as she nudged the penguin away. Though at least it wasn't trying to eat them.

Oh, no, Cara. He loved you.

It was not mutual.

"And since we're in the northern hemisphere, we'll take this time to let you all get familiar with the penguins," Jane added.

"Apparently we have fish for them." In two different sizes, obviously.
