On the one hand, there was a party on Friday. On the other hand, it was being held at Professor Vess' house and Arden was still pretty wary of the woman, on top of never being entirely sure if she was meant to go to these kinds of parties.

Either way, it was still a good excuse to look at pretty dresses on her phone. Dress to impress? That sounded like fun.

Well, the pond was green. Melted crayon green, not pond scum green. Anakin--who had spent entirely too much time watching the Olympics the past few weeks--could work with this! Everyone knew how to kayak, right?

But there was also new food in town, so there would be an eating contest, too. Because balance was important.

"Hello, Fandom, and welcome to Chicago!" he boomed through the megaphone. "Listen for your names!"
