Well, Arden had a goose in tow for her library shift today. Triumph had returned to his stable pretty easily, but Graham had shown and inclination towards following her around and no inclination towards biting her, so now Arden was apparently goose-sitting for however long until Graham turned back.

"This is my second week on the job," Arden said to the goose in her arms, "so we're gonna behave ourselves, yeah?"

"HONK!"

"Goose or not," she whispered furiously, "this is still the library. So respect the rules or I'm sending you back to the manor. On foot."

"honk." Graham looked very abashed at his previous enthusiastic outburst. At least, Arden thought he did.

"Okay," she said, setting him down. "It looks like I've got some returns to process. You go explore and if you can find me a reputable source that says that geese can have pie, we will renegotiate yesterday's agreement. But I'm not kidding when I say reputable."

"Honk!" Graham said and waddled quickly into the stacks, a goose on a mission.

And Arden was just gonna take a minute and stare into middle distance while she accepted the fact that 'having serious discussions with a goose - who used to be a guy - about whether or not he was allowed to have pie' was now just a thing that happened in her life and was possibly only the third weirdest thing she'd dealt with this month.

Moment over, she started on the pile of returns in front of her. "...All I'm saying is that if I have to sew a bunch of shirts for you to become person-shaped again, you are in for a very disappointing time, my friend," she muttered to herself as she did.

“I could keep doing this class forever,” Atton greeted the class. He looked tired. He was daring anyone to comment on it. “I mean, we haven’t even covered metal, hiphop or modern pop yet. So I don’t think we’ll be hitting you with an exam or anything.”

He waved behind him. “The point of this class was to inspire you all to play something,” he said. “So… today, we play stuff. We’ve got a bunch of sheets of music from all the eras we talked about, plus the 80s. I don’t care what you pick. Just pick something, and put your heart into it.”

"And don't be afraid to be creative!" Lana said. She'd been writing poetry a lot last night. "None of these genres of music would exist without someone having thought of them and written songs. Maybe you'll discover a talent of your own."

If you thought Anakin's creativity was limited to just making Rey's warehouse a death trap a death trap, you were happily mistaken, class! Today's Danger Shop had been turned into an obstacle course too! Oh, how lucky for all of you!

Anakin, at least, looked happy about it. That was probably the first clue that it would be a bad day.

Ahsoka for her part looked vaguely nostalgic, which probably wasn't a good sign if you were looking for any help there. "The true test of teamwork is if you can make it work under pressure."

"Most of the time you can't and then there's unhelpful yelling in the middle of a battlefield and it's just embarrassing for everyone around you," Anakin agreed with a nod.

"'Should you really be doing that, general?'," Ahsoka quoted in a passable imitation of Rex. "'Of course, I know what I'm doing!'"

"And I did know what I was doing and it worked and we won and then everybody clapped," Anakin replied.

It was possible that wasn't exactly how it had gone every time.

"Sure they did, just like you're good at landings." It turned out Ahsoka being willing to talk with Anakin wasn't necessarily better than the weird, awkward vibes.

"Those ships just weren't cut out for the fast paced environment I put them into," Anakin declared. "Right. Pair up, go through the obstacle course, don't get horribly maimed."

Should they warn for the ninja attack halfway through? Of course they weren't. It wouldn't be a surprise if they did that!

Teamwork!
