There seemed to be a possibility of rain in the forecast that day, so, just to be cautious, yoga was being held inside that day, which Rosa didn't love (much harder to escape), but she didn't feel like getting rained on that day, either. Sometimes she didn't mind, but she definitely didn't want to deal with it on the first class.

"Right," she started, "so. This is More Yoga, having had other Yoga before is not a prerequisite, but it'll sure help. We're going to be focusing on chakras this time around, too, instead of just a general overview, not because I really believe in any of that crap, but there are seven weeks and seven chakras, so it kind of felt like a gimme.

"Basically, chakras refer to various spots in your body where energy is said to radiate from, and yoga's supposed to help focus these chakras and keep them balanced, so that you're balances, and it's all just sort of spiritual mindfulness crap. We're going to start with the Muladhara chakra, or root chakra today, the first of the seven, which is said to be located around your coccyx or tailbone, associated with the color red, and it's supposed to support good health for your body, your connection to the Earth, and overall stability in the physical world."

And if it sounded like Rosa was a little bored and disbelieving of these sorts of things, well...

"So we'll learn a few poses good for the root chakra, and one of the things good for the root chakra is also the sun salutation, which is also good, because that's how we'll be starting and finishing most sessions. Those of you who already know it, you know what to do, but if you don't, just follow along with me on the warm up, and you can work on improving it as we go on."

If anyone couldn't tell by the class description, Prompto was kind of taking the charge with this one, and his eager bouncing that day had the added effect of a panic-driven adrenaline rush earlier when he realized his class was today when his last class had been on Thrusday, which had been a whole ordeal and--you know what? Never mind. He shook his head and focused on the task at hand, which was getting the class started and rolling now.

"Hey, everyone! Thanks for coming, and welcoming to Team-Building! For Fun and Profit, although, admittedly, mostly just Fun, but the Profit is clearly the friends we'll make along the way!"

Yes, he had been waiting way too long to use that, thank you.

"If you don't already know us, I'm Prompto Argentum, this big guy here is Gladio Amicitia," Gladio lifted his chin with a crooked grin and the dude with the specs is Ignis Scientia." A lift of Ignis' hand and a nod. "And we've been working together for a long time, through a lot of different things..."

Was there a slight pause there, a little bit of a wince, especially with the turn his dreams had been taking these last few days? Absolutely. And there was maybe something similar going on with Gladio and Ignis at that moment, too, although they were always much more subtle and reserved in literally everything, compared to Prompto.

"So we know each other," Prompto continued, "pretty well. And that is sort of our first lesson for the day. First classes are always about introductions, and when you're working with a team, it's important to get to know each other! Teams work better when you're comfortable and familiar. And knowing things like people's likes and dislikes lets you know more about their personality."

"And knowing their strengths," Gladio added, "means you can get a good idea of what they're good at and how to utilize that effectively in a way that makes the most out of what they do best."

"And knowing their weaknesses," Ignis contributed, "allows you to know what to avoid, as well as perhaps even plan ahead to know what your enemy might try to exploit to use against you."

Prompto gave a little bit of a chuckle. Leave it to Ignis to really throw in the darker side of these things, but he was not wrong! "And so," he continued, "what we're focusing on today is just getting to know each other. But not by the standard introductions that we do around here; just stating your name and why you're interested in the class doesn't create that sort of synergy we're hoping to accomplish here. We're just going to go around and talk to each other. Kind of like a mixer! If you want to put a margin on it, your goal is to take some time to talk to everyone in the class, at least a little bit, and get to know them better, even us three! We're part of the team, too. Get to know their name, what they like and dislike, some of their strengths and weaknesses....whatever might be helpful along the line of this class that'll really make the team work work, you know?

"So let's not waste any more time, we've got a pretty good size class here, plenty of people to chat with, so let's get going!"

There was a slightly awkward pause, as Prompto didn't seem to know quite how to finish it off, but, with a faintly amused snort, Gladio took a second to just clap his hands together loudly and said, "Break!" And, well, that...worked, he supposed!

Well, in contrast to the first summer session, this one had Tony and a very excited dog that was Steve. Because that was normal for here. Perfectly normal.

"Welcome, welcome," Tony said. "Welcome back, some of you. As you can see, only one of us is... normal-ish. But the first class of the session will continue on anyway!"

God help you all of dog!Steve got a paintball gun working, though.

"We'll start out simple with just the normal course to provide cover as you play. And feel free to grab a jumpsuit to protect your clothes, okay?"

It'll be fun. Or embarrassing.

It was hot outside. The library was air-conditioned and had comfy seating. Belle was going to spend all day in here, thank you, now that she was free of sparkly pink jello lava from her class.

There was a seemingly endless supply of "beach reads" on display which Belle was of course perusing and occasionally reorganizing.

"What," she mused out loud to nobody in particular, "makes it a beach read? Why not a park read?"

The danger shop was pink. Very pink. And glittery. Because something was wrong with it no matter what the teachers did to try fixing it.

And some music just kept blaring the whole time too.

Cara stoically attempted to ignore the music and all the...pink. "Welcome back, I see a lot of familiar faces."

"We're very glad you returned," Jane said over the sound of the music. "Even if it's a bit... glittery today."

"It shouldn't be a recurring problem." Congratulations, Cara, you just ensured that every class would have glittery jello.

It would be great.

"So, the goal is the same as last time, to make it across without falling into the 'lava'." The islands scattered through the lava were distinctly themed in a Malibu sort of beach party way.

Though Malibu didn't have pink sand. As far as Cara knew, anyway.
