Cleaning out that closet down at the gym had managed to unearth a few things to drive the inspiration for Gladio's class that morning, specifically in the form of a few colorful scooters, that he was looking forward to introduce to the class and really get everyone rolling. Who didn't love a nice scooter class every once in a while?

It should also be noted, though, that class was definitely being held in the danger shop this week. No way anyone was losing a finger to those things on his watch.

An Introduction to Zoology - Friday, 1st Period

“Since we’ve covered the role that both evolution and extinction have played in the animal kingdom, the next part we’re going to be looking at is fossils, what we can learn from them and how they help us understand the links,” Cutter began that week’s lecture as he handed out his usual stack of notes.

“To help us understand the past and what the fossils tell us, we use the the fossil record,” he began, “the fossil record is the history of life according to fossils and include the remains or imprints of organisms and from earlier geological periods found in sedimentary rock,”

“The study of the fossil record has proved useful in three different purposes, the first one being to describe the evolution of a specific animal group, this includes the acquisition or loss of specific features in a species and that these adaptations can prove to be the better adaptation in a particular environment,”

“Fossil records can also make it easier to assistant when assigning an age to the strata where they occur and finally they can also be used to tell us more about the climate and the environment in which they originated and how the environment may have shifted over time,”

“Next week we will be doing some field work looking for fossils along serenity cove and the lighthouse, so we will be meeting there next week,”

Practical Engineering- Friday, 4th Period

“Sorry about last week,” Goose began that week’s class, “I was called back home unexpectedly but for today’s class I thought we would look at
“wedges, which we did cover briefly when we looked at the six simple machines but wedges are still quite useful to learn about in relation to engineering and a wedge is a simple machine that is used to separate two objects through an application of force,” Goose explained, “examples of wedges include knives, axes, forks and nails,”

“For today’s practical we’re going to be using different wedges to cut different materials,”

Library - Friday

The library seemed to be back to normal this week as far as Jo could tell when she turned up after her class, there were no obvious signs of greenery and the leprechauns had gone from last week. At least that made it easy to start doing her reshelving and the general organisational tasks she had to do for the day, she didn’t have to much to do of either so it wasn’t long before she was back at the front desk.

Musical Theater! [Friday, Period Two]

Today, the stage had wood, tools, paint, and pink foam sheets. Because it was time to let imaginations soar!

Or something like that.

"A set gives you grounding for a play," Jaskier said like he knew a single thing about it beyond 'ooo, pretty!'

"Somehow a painted sheet makes people think you're in a far away land as opposed to a dark hall." It was called willing suspension of disbelief, Cara.

"And what a magical thing it is!" Jaskier added, ignoring the pessimism there. "So, the setting is... here? Maybe? The town perhaps? We've left that up for you all to decide."

Good thing you all knew where this story was going, right. Right? "We're sure you'll come up with something suitable."
