"Morning, everyone!" Amaya greeted the class with the usual eagerness that came with the prospect of getting to blather on about weapons to a captive audience for a certain amount of time, easily one of her favorite things ever. "And welcome back! I hope you're feeling limber and ready to work those arms today, because we're moving onto a personal favorite of Detective Diaz over here, and, really, that's no surprise. Today, we're talking all about axes!"

What kind of woman doesn't have an axe? )

With that, Amaya concluded her ramble lecture and turned a faint grin to the students. "Are there any questions? If not, I'll turn it on over to Detective Diaz."

"Another week, another line of the Jedi code," Lana announced cheerfully. "There is no passion, there is serenity. I'll admit I had to ask a Jedi how 'emotion versus peace' and 'passion versus serenity' were different. Apparently the first one is more about inner peace and this one is more about direction and allowing outside distractions."

She shrugged. "So, first of all, is that what you get from it? How would you interpret it differently? Apart from that, how do you feel about it? Or is feeling about it at all contrary to its directive? If you interpret the two lines differently, would you prefer to follow one and not the other? Or are both of them important? How would you go about following this one, if you would?"

The Danger Shop workshop had a couple new ships in it!

"This is a Y-wing," Jaina began. "It's mostly a bomber ship, very useful in that regard, but it's slow as hell and that is very annoying to deal with in the middle of a battle. This one has a broken coolant pump, which is a major part of the fuel system. So you have to get it right or it's going to be a big problem for a ship that has to fight it's way out of situations. You're going to look at how it's set up, then you'll find the part in the warehouse and replace the pump. Then we'll run diagnostics to see if you fixed it. Or made it worse."

"Sometimes when considering sexy crime there are grey areas," Aphra started, a fact which would no doubt be shocking to them all. "Sometimes you have people who are supposedly on the side of the authorities, but you are definitely not law abiding citizens, so do we count them in our sexy criminals to be studied?"

Obviously this was a rhetorical question, but Isabela at least pretended to be giving it serious thought. "Of course we do, after very thoughtful and vigorous consideration."

"So enjoy your sexy space bounty hunters, kids, and for homework, you should all discuss reasons why the lead bounty hunter has a much more interesting dynamic with the morally dubious noblewoman than the sad soldier boy."
