Belle had not been expecting a ballpit in the library. To be fair, Belle hadn't been expecting a ballpit anywhere because Belle was quite unfamiliar with the concept.

Still, there was a ballpit in the middle of the library full of round plastic ornaments, some of which contained old book pages.

Trying to identify books from the snippets that were visible would keep Belle occupied for at least part of the day.
