Whether or not it was because Rosa was just that intimidating, or that the mistletoe actually did have some concept of appropriate boundaries in very specific circumstances, or the school was able to just keep it at bay, the classroom that day was absolutely a safe, mistletoe-free zone.

It was probably option number three, really, but Rosa was just going to go ahead and believe it was the first one.

"Alright," she said, "we're here. We did it. We're at our final class, and that means it's time for your exam. If you were paying attention last week, you know that this means you're to present your own proposal for a Nancy Meyers-esque film. Give us your plot, your characters, what happens, and why you think it deserves to have a spot among these masterpieces of movie entertainment. Impress me. Who wants to go first?"

Well, the teachers were reasonably on edge when the class arrived. One of them was even in his armor to keep a digital eye out for any errant mistletoe.

"Well, we did have plans for an exam, but lucky for all of you... this is happening," Tony said.

Steve missed his shield so much. "Which is completely inappropriate in a work setting," he scolded the plant, which, being a plant, didn't feel shame.

"So!" Tony said, a little laser cannon popping out of the shoulder of his armor to immediately aim at the plant. "Instead we'll cover one last inventor. John Franz. Inventor of the modern herbicide."

So take that, mistletoe.

"This formula was so powerful there are states that have started to ban it," Steve said pointedly. "Because it kills everything, not just the annoying weeds."

"A lesson in overkill," Tony said solemnly as the nearest bit of mistletoe was lasered to death.

And Avengers knew overkill.

"We hope you've learned something interesting about American inventors who aren't just the same four you normally learn about," Steve said earnestly.

"I...um. Right. It's exams." Which Jon was lucky to have remembered today. He looked about as rough as he felt. "You...That is, I don't actually have an exam for you. But there are books." He waved at a small moddable pile he'd brought mostly for show. "Also books online. And libraries to look at. So you can do that. And stay here and avoid the mistletoe."

Which he would absolutely be doing.

"You've all done really well," he promised them. Just in case he had to give actual grades.
