"Hey, guys!" Prompto never really had any shortage of a sort of nervous energy around his person at any given time, but that Thursday, it did seem a little amped up as he greeted them standing at the front of the classroom instead of sitting on the desk as usual because sitting still was just shy of impossible right now. Besides, there was clearly a few boxes of pastries sitting on the desk in his stead, anyway. "And welcome back! I hope you had a few good opportunities to gets some practice on your portrait shots, especially because we're going to start class with showing off your work, and then we're going to get into today's lesson, and I hope you all had breakfast before you came in, because this one?" He chuckled a little. "Is definitely going to make you hungry. But first! Portraits! Who wants to go first?"

And once everyone had a chance to show off their pictures, it was time to get started on the next lesson.

"Now," he started, "with the holiday coming up, a lot of people probably have their minds on some real fancy food," a faint grin, because he was maybe one of those people, yes, and said fancy food might be the meaning behind his particular energy today, "which means it's probably a great time to talk about food photography, which is a skill that's not only useful to boost up your social media likes, but also a really interesting career path in photography to consider if you're taking this with a potential future in the field in mind. Now, I'm also friends with a guy who's a pretty good chef, too, so I apologize if they get your appetite going, but, hey," he cracked a grin at them and gestured toward the boxes on the desk, "that's why I brought doughnuts."

A pause.

"Well, also, so we'd have some food to photograph in a little bit for practice, but they're totally also for eating. Now, let's get into it. Your key componants in a sweet food photography shot are going to be angle, composition, and setting..."

And with that, he turned his attention to the first example in a long line of many to highlight his point as he went through a few of the essential tips and suggestions to really make those food photos pop for more than just your Instagram!

While Gladio had started this course thinking he'd be pretty big on the whole actual outdoors concept of it, he was quickly realizing that the Danger Shop was actually pretty useful for making sure his survival scenarios went according to plan...especially now that he wasn't stuck with a couple dozen chocobos everywhere whenever he used it. So it was back into the fake wilderness again that morning, though the weather itself seemed to reflect the weather outside pretty closely, just with a very clear and imminent threat of rain.

Which they would definitely be using in a little bit.

"Alright," Gladio grinned at the students, "so we've covered some hiking, we've covered fires, we've covered shelter, and the next thing we're going to cover that's pretty important to wilderness survival is water. You know, that thing that most of us kind of need to live. Ideally, you'll always be prepared with a canteen or a hydration pack, like one of these great ColemanTM brand options," lifted up to show them for great ad revenue potential. "But that's not always going to be the case. Or you may misjudge how much water you've brought with you or you've gotten lost and drained through it pretty quickly, but the good thing is, you've got options, no need to die of dehydration. So, today, we're going to talk about the best ways to find water in the wild in a few different scenarios, and, even more important, how to properly purify your water, because it's all well and good to make it out of the woods nice and hydrated, but not if you're going to just turn around and get sick because of it. Alright," he grinned, turning a little and waving his arm to get them to follow him up the slope of the wooded mountainside they were currently standing on, "let's get moving!"

Because of course this was going to be a lesson taught while hiking! Multitasking!

The tavern sim had a slide projector set up at the bar. Not that either of your teachers knew how to use a slide projector. Though after a little percussive maintenance it flicked to the first slide.

Valentine's Day:
A Warning

"The pox!" Jaskier proclaimed. "A terrible consequence of romance should you not be careful."

How very helpful.

"Here they have far fancier methods of prevention of many things whilst enjoying the company of another."

"We're not going to tell you not to have sex, because contrary to all appearances, we're not idiots," Cara said. "You're young, fighting gets your blood pumping, getting sweaty in the sparring ring leads to getting sweaty in the bedroom. Also this island is prone to releasing sex pollen, often at this time of year. But being young is no excuse for being an idiot. Not when you have options."

She started thumping the slide projector to bring up some very helpful diagrams.

"So, uh." Jaskier paused to tilt his head at those diagrams. "Protection is key."

Wrap it up, kids.

"We've provided sample packs for you." Because they cared, and class wasn't already mortifying enough. "So take them even if you don't think you need them yet, and you can always get more at the clinic."
