This was definitely the kind of morning where all three of the chocobros were feeling like maybe they needed to stop making Thursday night their 'do stuff' night when they rolled back into Fandom, considering their class was the first one on Friday mornings, but the Danger Shop at least was (mostly) cooperating, so that was a good sign that it might not be a bad morning anyway, even though all of them would agree that they'd stayed up way too late last night.
But not a single one of them would say it wasn't worth it.
"Okay, guys!" Prompto especially was relieved to not have to deal with another influx of chocobos, which sounded like an insane statement if you really looked at it, but there they were. There were still chocobos, of course, but their numbers were far more managable. "So! We've been doing some thinking, about this class, and, you know, what it's supposed to be, how to be a Chocobro, and one thing that the three of us all share in common are weapon expertises, so proficiency with a weapon is definitely something that makes a chocobro! But since my weapon is clearly the more fun one," or at least the one that was easiest to adapt into a fun class!, "we're going to focus on that! My weapon of choice is a gun; I'm the long-range guy! And maybe guns aren't for you, that's fine, but, today, we're going to let you see how you do with guns with a nice game of laser tag!"
Seriously, who didn't love laser tag?
"We're gonna do a free-for-all, too, every man for themselves! Once we're in the arena, here's the breakdown: every time you shoot one of your classmates, that's 5 points. If you shoot one of us," his hand danced between himself and Ignis and Gladio for emphasis, "that's 10 points! But if you shoot one of the chocobos...and there will be chocobos, we couldn't get the out of there even if we tried, that's, like, negative a thousand points. So you have to be smart and not just shoot around hoping you hit something because you'll definitely hit something you'll regret doing it that way!
"So! Any questions? It's the danger shop, so we don't really need gear or anything, but we've got some if you want to, you know, really get into the experience. You'll have five minutes once you get in there to get a lay of the land and find a position to start, and then we're off, so if you've got anything, now's the time to ask."
