"Welcome back, ducklings ♥." Once again, the class would be meeting in the classroom, remodeled, to accomodate for comfortable sitting (and napping, should anyone need to!), discussing, and sipping tea and cocoa. "Have a seat, get yourself situated, pour yourself something to drink, and we'll just get started, because the sooner we begin, the sooner we can be finished, neh ♥?"
Shunsui gave evreryone a few minutes to do just that, sipping on his own tea all the while, and when it looked like they were ready, he gave them a soft smile.
"Now that we're in our second week," he said, "I suppose it's time we started delving into the actual subject of our class ♥. Battle Tactics. Strategies for war, although this class will be focusing on perhaps strategies to avoid war, or at least to lessen the damage as much as possible. While there is a lot to be said about an effective strategy deployed in decimating your enemies, especially if you can do so swiftly and efficiently, the real challenge lies, I believe, in doing as little damage as possible, in fighting as little as possible, when possible, and knowing exactly when it is not possible at all.
"We'll start out small ♥," he said with another smile. "I'll call today's scenario 'Enemy at the Gates, Part One,' wherein you have been assigned to guard a gate with the express order not to let anyone in. BUt the enemy is there, and he is determined by any means necessary to get past you. Since you are under seige, you know that many of the others will be engaged in their own entanglements; you might not have backup should you choose to engage. There are, of course, ways to engage in battle with minimal damage in mind, as well, but that is a topic for a future class. So, what other strategies might we employ? What would you do? Let's discuss ♥."
And, with that, he sipped again from his tea and his sleepy gaze passed around the circle to see who might be willing to offer something up first.
