Food Photography; Friday, First Period [07/09].

Throwing himself into the technical aspects of remote learning was at least a good way to distract Prompto a little bit from everything going on right now; honestly, he almost wished he wasn't so tech savvy and that he did have more trouble with it because then it actually would be a distraction. But this was a guy who hacked the Danger Shop once, this sort of thing was kind of a breeze for him, and most of his energy went into the very detailed and link-heavy email he sent out to his students (whoever was even still around, anyway, ugh!) in case they had trouble.

But, hopefully, everyone who was still around was able to get on board and get online, and then he was ready to get on with class!

"Hey, everyone!" Once things got going, he gave the camera a little bit of a smile and a small wave, and his fidgeting was less for nervousness about the glass as it was nervousness about the whole situation they were dealing with. "And, uhhhh, welcome to Food Photography, I guess? There's...not going to be a whole lot of either right now. Ignis, the guy who's handling the food part of this class...um, couldn't make it, so it's just me, I'm Prompto if you don't know me already, I handle the photography stuff! But we're not going to be doing much of that right now today, either, because we don't need anyone going around trying to snap pics of tasty food when we've got this whole hole situation, you know? So we'll mostly be doing introductions.

"Introductions," he repeated, and his grin gained a little more, "and talking about our favorite foods! This way, Ignis and I can get an idea of what you guys like so we can maybe make sure to make that or something similar to it! Also, since we're online with this class today, I included a little bit of instruction on how you guys can share any pictures you might have on your phones of food already that you might think are particularly good pictures or were just really great meals you've had, and we can talk about those, too! That also gives me an idea of where you are on your food photography journeys, you know?

"So, uhhhhh, yeah! Let's get started?"

Of course a class run by Tony Stark had top-of-the-line video quality, even if the teachers smashed together on the screen looked a little frustrated with each other.

"Welcome to, um, paintball," Steve said, powering through the awkwardness.

"Which is being done online," Tony said. "Which is great."

JUST GREAT.

"Well, given the class list, this is safer for everyone," Steve teased lightly. "Definitely not as messy."

"That's true," Tony said with a sigh. Even if he felt this was getting way out of hand. "So, today you'll play a video game to work on your paintball skills!"

"And we know you're all smarter than this, but just in case," Steve said, giving them all his Captain America is Disappointed In You look. "Don't shoot a hole."

Tony looked deeply concerned by that needing to be said. Even though he totally would do it, but for science.

"You too, Tony," Steve said, not even glancing over.

So You Want to Be a Hero. [Friday, Period 4]

Look, Yang had ONE student signed up, and she knew Sidon.

So she had slapped a sign on the Danger Shop saying it was open for use, and if you were looking to join her class, to text her, and included her phone number.

To Sidon, she sent a simple text -- If you aren't already disappeared, let's go be heroic idiots together.
I'm going to start patrol on the North end of the island.

So You Want To Be A Hero wasn't having a standard class today. If you want to join in, go be a hero somewhere.

Practical Philosophy, Friday

All of Ender's new students received an email that morning, if they were still capable of receiving any at all.

As you may know, my class centers around discussion. Without pupils, it's hard to discuss anything.

Enclosed you'll find a digital copy of a book about the ancient Greek philosopher Democritus. Once we're able to meet in person again, we'll talk about his ideas about truth.

For now, I hope you and yours are safe. I will be doing my best to ensure the same on my end.
