And it was time again for another exciting edition of Playing With Weapons in a Fake Medieval Forest, with tables full of this week's weapons and practice dummies off to the side just waiting to be thoroughly abused by them, which they certainly would be today, for today, they were talkinga bout maces!

"Now," she said, "I'm sure there are some really technical forms and techniques one can use when actually using a mace, and if anyone has some experience they'd like to share with the class, please do, but I think, for the most part, you can't really go wrong with a good old swing-and-a-hit. So if there are any questions, we'll go over those, and, if not, I'll let you guys pick out a few maces and give them a go.

The tavern was on fire today. It was on fire and there were some dragons looming all around them because someone messed up the settings by spilling a drink on them. It was a real Weird Science situation here, folks!

"So, it was just supposed to be lizards today," Magnus said, covered in soot and raring to go stab one of the dragons. Because of course he was. "Our bad. This one is on us."

Cara looked disturbingly cheerful, especially since she had not drawn a weapon. "Just think of it as a challenge," she said, grinning. "And if you win, you get to ride a flying murder lizard."

Cara, no!

"...yes," Magnus said, totally buying into this. "Less Skyrim, more Dragon Heart!"
"Yes! Exactly!" Cara had no idea what Magnus had just said, she was just that excited about this. Now was probably a good time to be grateful for the safeties. "It's time to tame some dragons, kids!"
