It was not uncommon for Shunsui to be completely unaware of things that might have been going on over the weekend; after all, this was the man who had unwittingly wandered into prom having completely forgotten that there was such a thing. And this weekend had been very much about catching up on the naps he'd been missing out on while he was back in Soul Society under the firm glare of his lieutenant and having to introduce and train a whole gaggle of new ducklings into his division.
But now it was back to these ducklings, and whatever other smaller ducklings they may have possibly have with them.
"Good morning, ducklings ♥!" There was a certain sleepiness in his smile that suggested that he still hadn't quite caught up with the napping as much as he'd like, but, then again, that was also just his face. "I would apologize for not being with you last week, but I know you were in excellent, capable, lovely hands with our dear sweet Rosa-chan, so I will instead say you're welcome ♥."
He, personally, would have loved to have been a student in this class last week.
"Now," he said, "if I am to understand correctly, the indomitable Rosa-chan taught you all a variety of self-defense moves to fend off an attack, which is a very useful skill if one embraces the idea that self-defense has a comfortable spot in the concept of pacifism. However, should one happen to believe that any sort of violence at all in inherantly against the tenets of this belief, then what is one to do when faced with someone far more violent in nature ♥? That is what I would like to discuss today, ducklings: what are some alternate ways to avoid violence in a confrontation ♥? It's been a while since we've had a little chat, so I'll let you take the lead on this one ♥. Tell me, what might you do to avoid violence, or what can you suggest that others try ♥?"
Or, maybe, he was just fielding the question directly to the students because he was unprepared for class and was just hoping they'd take care of it from there. It was an awfully quiet class, though, so there was at least one inherant flaw in this particular method.
But oh well! At least there was cocoa ♥!
