Hopefully, everyone in class would remember to bring back in what they'd made during last week's whittling class for this week, but, hey, if not, because they'd forgotten, or they'd lost it, or something else happened to it, well, there was plenty of material to whip something else up, so long as it was quick, because there was plenty to do that day.

"Welcome back, everyone," Amaya greeted the class with a nod. "I hope you're ready to get some more use out of those mini-foundries we made a little while back, and we've got a lot to squeeze into today. Now I asked you to bring back in whatever it was you whittled last week, because today, we're putting them to good use through a process called sand casting. That's when you make a mold out of tightly packed, slightly damp sand for founding whatever little pieces you'd like with the pattern you've made. Not necessarily the best way to cast an item, but definitely an effective, quick, and fairly cheap way to do it, and hopefully a little bit of fun, too.

"Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be checking in on you as you work, so let's just get to it."

"You know what?" Vanessa said to the class this week. "How about we just watch a nice K-drama and enjoy it? How about that?"

"It's all we have left that's not YouTube, okay? It's all we have left!" Oh, it sounded like the teachers might have been self isolating a little too much.

"We watched too much TV. I knew it would happen one day, but I didn't think it would happen so soon." Vanessa paused. "Oh, God, am I going to have to learn how to make bread?" She turned to Wade. "Do we even have an oven?"

"We do! We burned a frozen pizza in it last week, remember?" Wade replied like this was some detective shit. "Can't we just learn to crochet or something instead? Like sexy grandmas."

"Okay, that's a problem for future us," Vanessa declared. "This week, we still have the K-dramas! And we're all going to watch one. Right now. Just pick the show that's right for you!"

"But if any of you spoil them for us, you fail the class." Wade was cruel but fair. Only not really fair.

"I'm going with this one about a girl who's unqualified for her job," Vanessa declared. "No reason. Anyway, enjoy your shows!"

There were a couple of blanket forts in the class room.

"I didn't ask for these," Seivarden said, gesturing at them. "Just ignore them. Today's class is mostly going to be fun. We're having a tea party. So, make tea, help yourself to biscuits, chat with your classmates."

She wasn't going to mention gloves, that should be a given by now.
