Jack was still not in the best of moods but it was more under control this morning than it had been last Monday. She waited for the kids to file in and then said, "Welcome to your final exam. Like I told you last week, you're expected to give some sort of presentation."

She shrugged and asked, "Who wants to go first? If someone doesn't step forward, I'll pick someone at random."

Final day would be a good day for a class on parties, and if people had kids, well, then today you were getting a kids' birthday party. The Danger Shop was made up like a suburban backyard, with Danger Shopped kids and pony rides and a clown making balloon animals, plus cake and ice cream. Breakfast of champions!

And there was Kitty, standing with an older-than-usual Lexi, who was eyeing the clown suspiciously. "Hey, everybody," Kitty greeted them. "It's our last class, and it's not exactly a normal class, so just have some fun. Don't punch the clown."

"I'm just saying, you've had better ideas than the clown," Lexi said in a low voice.

"It's fine. It's making animals."

"I don't trust it."

"You don't have to trust it, it's the Danger Shop."

"Which is another thing..."

Tip hadn't had any kids show up this year, thankfully, so she'd spent her weekend quietly reading and texting with J.Lo.

Which was most of what she was doing today at work, too. In between running into the stacks to deal with all the AU children's books running around. . . .

"Welcome to our last class of the semester," Ghanima said. "Today, I'd like to hear from you."

"We've covered a number of religions in this class, looking at how and why they developed, and their basic belief structures. Now I'm going to ask you to think about what you've heard, and use your imaginations."

"I'd like you to picture yourself dropped into a hostile environment. You have no money, no allies, and the natives are quite hostile to outsiders. Luckily, you are exceedingly familiar with the planetary religion and it's resultant myths and legends."

"Out of all the various religions we've covered, which one would you find the easiest to use to your advantage in this situation? Or if you cannot picture yourself in such a situation, what religion that we've studied has intrigued you the most?"
