Acting 101; Monday, First Period [03/11].

Sweet Dee would have hoped her students would have remembered her saying something like 'no class this week' due to the extra day they put in last week, but she figured it wouldn't hurt to shoot an email to remind them, and, at that point, if any of them actually showed up, then that was completely on them.

Great job last week! Remember, no class today! Enjoy the time off!!!

Of course, since there was no class that morning, Sweet Dee was taking advantage of it by sleeping in, which meant that the email didn't get sent out until well past the class starting time, making the email essentially pointless.

Technology, though, right?

Civics - Art of Civil Disobedience Monday 4th Period

Jack waited while the class filed in. On her desk was a small square machine that looked like the world's wackiest printer. Because, essentially, it was. Behind it was a photographer rig with a neutral background and some umbrella-looking light diffusers.

"So the last few classes have been about gettin' out of restraints and gettin' a go-bag ready. Today's was supposed to be about dealing with the cops but the sheriff's," pause, "busy dealin' with some personal crap this week so he's punted to later. Today we're gonna talk about fake IDs. Something I am disappointed to find, every student at this school don't already have three of. Mostly kids use 'em for buyin' cigarettes or booze, which I don't condone, but it's always useful to have at least one extra identity. Even if it's one that exists solely for you to be able to burn it."

( Class. )

"If you need some time to do your face or whatever, go do it now. When you come back, be ready to have your picture taken. If you strongly object to having a fake ID, sit and.. I dunno.. read about the Constitution or whatever. It won't affect your grade."

She hopped off the desk and went to set up the camera.

Library, Monday

The library was unmanned for a good chunk of Monday morning, the books sleeping in peacefully.

Then a vent by the circulation desk popped open, and out tumbled a snarling mongoose, a piece of gremlin scale still stuck to one of its claws.

The mongoose hit the desk and rolled off onto the chair -- and sat up as a nonplussed black girl.

"Well," Tip said. "That sucked." She shivered and looked down, then clamped both arms over her unfortunately naked chest. "And is still sucking."

A tiny silver bug came shooting out of the vent and ran straight into Tip's back.

"Bill! Oh thank god. Can you find me some clothes?"

Bill paused mid-bubble rant, and let out a soapy little sigh.

A few minutes later, Tip was wearing an only slightly see-through bubble dress and wishing her mongoose self had thought to keep her phone on her, so she could call someone with actual hands for help.

Make it Fashion- Tuesday- 1st period

"Morning, everybody!" Brooke greeted the class, holding a couple JGOB bags. "I brought bagels. Go ahead and take some. So I was thinking we'd change it up some today. Today I'm going to have your make your own patterns. Then next week, you're going to use each others' patterns to make clothes for yourself. We're going to mix up styles a little bit. You can make them for anything you want, it just has to be something another person can make and wear. I'm going to give you a little tutorial, and then you'll have the rest of class to work. Hence, bagels."

Also because she'd been hungry after radio.
