Since it seemed to be the in thing this semester, and since one of their students was roughly the size of a large hovercar, it had seemed prudent to denude yet another classroom of its desks and seats in favor of comfortable cushions on the floor.

... Kanan was kneeling directly on the floor, however. Sitting on a cushion seemed like cheating to him, somehow.

Hera was using a cushion. It was soft, and she saw no reason not to.

Civics, 1st Period - Friday

No running laps and no weird rich people sports for this class. Well, running the government sort of had turned into the worst rich person sport ever if you thought about it too much, but they'd cover that later on.

"Welcome to Civics, I'm Tony Stark," he said brightly. "Call me Tony if you would. Call this fellow over here Captain Rogers because he's old-fashioned like that."

"It's just weird to call adults by their first names," Steve muttered. "This class is going to be focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the American form of government, which is a democratic republic."

"If you have looked at the news at all in the last two years, you will know some of the flaws," Tony said with a sigh. "But today is getting to know you and what sort of government you're most accustomed to."

"And if you have a favorite government leader, let us know that too," Steve said. "I'm a big FDR fan."

Shocking.

"Can I pick T'Challa? I mean, he is a king and all," Tony said with a grin.

Steve poked him in the shoulder. "Do you like him for his governing style or his tech?"

"Still considering that Prince Consort thing," Tony said brightly. Because who wouldn't? He clapped his hands together and looked out at the class before selecting someone at random. "How about you start us off?"

"Give us your names, too," Steve said.
