“You ever have one of those mornings where everything goes wrong and you hate everyone and you’d give your right hand just for something to freaking work?” Brooke greeted them. “That happens a lot in the home. There, that’s your lesson. Have a movie about cooking.”

Library, Monday

It was a quiet day in the library today. The books were having a relaxing Monday picnic, playing badminton in the stacks. They'd recruited Bill to keep score, leaving Tip all by herself at the circulation desk.

"Oh sure," Tip grumbled, scrolling idly through tumblr. "When they need to be shelved it's all 'hey Tip we need your help' but when they do something interesting all the of the sudden I'm too big and disruptive. . . ."

What even was her life?

Cooking for the Disinterested, Monday

There were pizzas for class. Already cooked pizza because this was the last day and they were done teaching you the bare minimum of culinary survival.

"Finals! We're done until we start this shit all over again for the summer," Deadpool said, mouth full of pizza. Classy.

"Congratulations!" Vanessa said sunnily. "You all pass." Regardless of whether you learned anything or not. "Now eat your pizza and be happy."

"A+ for everyone here because we don't know how to change the grade and at this point, we don't want to ask our fellow teachers." So you all lucked out.
