Training Wheels [Period 2, Tuesday]

For the third week running the Danger Shop was set to the race track sim, however today's vehicles were decidedly non-technological and rather more equine.

"Today's class was going to involve high horsepower, but it would seem the Danger Shop had its own idea about what that meant." Bond said, gesturing to the horses contentedly cropping the grass by the track. "Still, we'll make do.

"Now for those of you who've never ridden a horse before, it has some unique challenges, as a living creature a horse has its own mind which can be both useful or not depending on the circumstances and they're on the whole somewhat more delicate than a car or bike would be, so alongside the track instead of on it today."

Sparkle was not completely at 100% today. He really couldn't even put a finger on why. Sure, Kathy had stopped by to pay him a visit over the weekend, and that had kind of left him a little... something. Vulnerable. Something. But it wasn't like he'd had anything really big and traumatic happen to him. Uh. Within the past couple of weeks, anyway.

Peridot had bread! She had made it herself yesterday in Home Ec class, and she was very proud of it. It was, after all, the first human food she'd ever prepared in her life, and while she wasn't going to eat it... well, it seemed like it would be unfortunate to let it go to waste.

Did the books eat? They were organic-based constructs and they did move around enough that one could surmise that they were most certainly alive, so she was going to bring it as an offering to them, today.

The bread sat there on the desk all day, surrounded by piles of books that took absolutely zero interest in it.

Peridot sighed and instead went looking for books that could give her some sort of insight on the value of bread in human society. She'd find a use for it, yet. Even if it meant wearing it as a hat like Mr. Spencer had suggested.

Pokémon Going, Wednesday - First Period (1/17/2017)

The the classroom today there was a poorly written 'Your Buddy' on the board. And there might have been a Pokémon drawn next to it. Or a dick.

Odds are on it being a dick.

"Today we're gonna make sure none of you pick some lame ass buddy to walk with," Deadpool said. "Because that lil' guy is going to be right next to the portrait of you. Or someone who looks like you if you were an anime character. Who wasn't green or an alien."

He was being inclusive here.

"Look closely at all the Pokémon you've caught so far. It's probably a ton of Pidgeys and Rattattas, but maybe you have something decent in there. But then, we're technically on the coast despite how much I feel like I'm in the Midwestern suburbs for some reason. Weird. But there might be more water type around in that case. Anyway, pick one and share with the class so we can judge you. As a group."

Just that easy! Wasn't it such a fun class?
