Cara had told her class to meet her in the Danger Shop, which resembled Caritas complete with holographic Tino. Who was on fire.

"Tino finally realised how hideous his shirt was and decided to burn it. Without taking it off first." Cara did not seem particularly concerned about this. "And the sprinkler system isn't working. Ideas?"

Class today would be meeting in the Danger Shop, and once they had gathered, Brian pushed a button to make something he had painstakingly programmed in ahead of time appear. "This is a car," Brian told his students. Oh, God. It was so beautiful. He might need a moment. He might be biting his knuckle. Okay, he was good. He was in love, but he was good. "Actually, this is a work of art. None of you will be driving it." Even not real, he didn't need to see what Thorin would do to a Bugatti. Brian had enough nightmares already, thanks.

Brian opened the passenger side door, then went around and opened the driver's door. "Everybody gather around, there are few enough of you to fit. Let's talk about what you'll find in the cockpit." Brian might need another moment. After his moment, he proceeded to talk them through all of the controls and dials and what they did handwavily. Then, he pressed another button and an identical Honda Civic for each student appeared. "Your assignment for today is to familiarize yourselves with the controls on the vehicles we'll be using in this class. If you have any questions, the manuals are in the glove compartments of your vehicles, or you can ask me." Brian would be here admiring the hard light Bugatti and trying to figure out if there was any way to smuggle it out of the Danger Shop.

Toys. Why were there toys in the library? Lucille frowned as she looked around for somewhere to put them, and eventually decided to stuff all of them into a bin.

Lucille should learn to read the labels. Well, eventually she did read the labels and spent the rest of her shift going through a book and comparing them with the illustrations and the symptoms they caused. This turned out to be one of the best Fridays in a long time.

[Open library, and infectious diseases stolen from yesterday because I love them.]

Anakin came into the room in a cranky mood today. "Today we're going to talk about slightly more...domestic disputes. Like how to explain in small words that your shampoo is not their bubble bath."

Guess whose daughter had been experimenting...

"Or perhaps more suitably," Obi-Wan said dryly, "Negotiating a roommate agreement."

"Or that," Anakin said, running his hand through his weird-feeling hair. "What are your absolute nos? Hitting the snooze alarm more than four times in a row? Eating fish in the room? Talking at all?"

"In diplomacy, it is often wise to discuss one's needs frankly, but carefully," Obi-Wan said. "Whether you are in a dispute, or you merely anticipate disputes to come. We would like you to write down five things you would request of a roommate, and then find a partner. Discuss your needs and whether they can be accomodated."

"I've found it helpful to have both needs you need and things that would just be nice to have," Anakin said, which might be news to Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. "Makes you appear more reasonable when you compromise on things you didn't care about that much to start with."

"That is certainly one possible approach," Obi-Wan said. "I wonder what yours will be?"
