Tip made it back to the island just in time for her library shift. For all her grumpiness and complaints, the holiday had gone perfectly well. It helped that her mom and J.Lo both refused to call it "Smekday" on principle.

She didn't see a whole lot of other people on campus on her way in, so she figured she'd have another nice easy shift. She pulled out a bunch of photography books and flipped through them. The ones of the American southwest and the Badlands were neat, but they couldn't hold a candle to the one she found that seemed to come from a world that had colonized the ocean.
