Perhaps the books were having a good week. There was just the occasional noise here and there, but mostly the library was as quiet as it should be. In fact, if one of the books giggled too loudly another one firmle cleared its throat. Not that it had a throat but it managed to make that sound. Lucille had long since given up speculating the physical reality behind the books' behaviour. Today, she spent her time browsing through old magazines and books looking at examples of Halloween costumes. She might have made her choice already, but a little inspiration never hurt.
