Kanan was holding the book again when class started this week, flipping through its pages and just... smirking.

"Okay, this week we're going to pull it back to something a little more personal," he said, glancing up from the book and speaking in an amused tone. "This week's chapter deals with making a happy home life. And I have to say, this week's outline is my favorite in the whole damn book. Makes me actually want to follow the list."

At first Lucille thought that the library was unusually quiet. She began reshelving, but soon she felt uneasy, as if something was going on behind her back. It didn't matter what she did, the feeling did not go away, and had she been somewhere else, she would have questioned her senses.

Finally she got fed up and settled behind the desk, skimming through a heavy book on 19th century art. It was familiar and comforting.

"Hello," Ben said with an easy smile. "Today we'll talk about one very Fandom problem: when you've met a couple versions of people and you started having a favorite...and it's not the one you know from home."

"Perhaps they are more balanced," Obi-Wan said, "They've refused to make terrible choices their other selves might have. Perhaps you have mutual friends that changed your relationship."

"Perhaps they aren't your father yet and are an amazing dork," Ben added.

"Do you begin treating your relative back home differently?" Obi-Wan asked. "Do you simply play favorites?"

"Do you tell them about each other and see if they'll vie for your attention?"

Ben, no.

"Please don't do that," Obi-Wan sighed. "As you can see, this can be a delicate... situation."

"And we're interested to hear your thoughts about it," Ben added, sitting down and making himself more comfortable.
