The usual bout of music was playing as students showed up. Because YouTube was a great thing for this. Legit, the best.

"And we're back again! Welcome back," Deadpool said cheerfully. "Welcome back. Great to see you all weren't eaten by the teddy bear parade."

Or was it? Yes. Yes, it was.

"If you can't tell from my depressing music, today we'll be coming up with music to brood to. Probably on the roof. What is up with that? Is it because of Batman? I feel like it has something to do with Batman. Or vampires. I don't know for sure." He waved his hands like it wasn't important. "Music for being sad. Hit me with it. But no sad abused animal songs or I will have to burn something to the ground. Got it? Good."

"You're all here for a reason."

Ender sat cross-legged on the ground, watching his students.

"I don't mean that in the sense that fate might have dictated your actions, or anything like that," he said. "But you have all come here for some reason. Maybe it wasn't specifically Fandom you chose to go to, but you chose to leave... something. And you no doubt had ideas about what that would mean for your future. Or maybe you didn't - maybe you didn't choose to leave, and coming here has changed your perception of what the future might be. Or," he added, smiling faintly, "It hasn't at all. Either way, you still have thoughts about what the future should be. Everyone does."

He took a sip from a bottle of water.

"If you think this is me working up to asking you what you'd like to be when you grow up, then you're correct," he said. "No long speech from me today. I'd just like an answer to that question - and then we'll talk about it."

Class was back out on the lawn today. And again, there was a box courtesy of Mabel, although this one was much smaller.

"Today," Bob said, "we're going to play a variation of tag. Everybody gets one of these." He pointed at the box, which held a number of white crystals, each a few inches long with a string tied around the middle. "They have locator spells on them. They'll point a general direction toward what they're looking for. What they're looking for," he said, grinning, "is another one of the crystals.

"Whoever gets the target crystal gets a head start. Then the rest of you get to try to find them. Simple enough." Of course it wasn't that simple; this was Bob. "You'll want to be careful, though; every so often, the target will change. You'd hate to be running up on someone when suddenly they have to find you."

He smirked. "Have fun."
